Primarily it's because there are many people across the entire religious and non-religious spectrum that cannot accept that people are different and for whatever reason feel the need to attack those who are different then they are.

Also, those who have been attacked seem to enjoy attacking others in turn.

All we can really do though is to support and defend those who are reasonible, respectful and kind and report any and all who want to disrespect, attack and redicule them.

Such a pity, such a pity.

That's a very good simple question and it deserves a simple clear answer..

Such is to serve as one proof that the Bible itself is a book of pure truth. once i suggested that they shut down this site for inciting hatred but a lot commented that this should remain open at the very least people could vent their bigotry thru writing and not physical contact. so religion and spirituality is therapeutic to bigots and racists.

Religious people always used the excuse they were fighting in God's name....as far as history can reach.
I don't know what excuse atheists have. lol

But I do know that all who are fighting should take a long, hard look at themselves and ask themselves, "What kind of person am I?" I don't think "good" would be the answer.

Human nature, pure and simple. As long as there is free thought, there will be disagreement. as long as disagreement exists, arguing is at least a possibility.
Far as I'm concerned what's the matter with a bit of argument? Shows we're thinking doesn't it?
