Does God want us to murder the unborn?

Scripture says God talks to the unborn in the womb. If the fetus was not a person, why would God do that?

And why do liberals promote this murder that has taken millions of fetuses from the sanctity of their mothers womb?

How long would it take for man to make up rules defining his message AND then begin killing in the name of God to maintain peace?

(Assume for the moment that you are convinced by God he is real.)

Then why are there so many naturally occuring elements and chemical compounds that can kill us, make us go insane, or in other ways cause extreme harm?
Examples of elements would be lead, mercury, asbestos.
Additionally there are radioactive elements like radon gas that cause cancers and mutations. Not to mention the deadly gases such as high concentrations of CO2 and sulphuric acid.
The ancients had no knowlege of these things and no way of finding out. Was this Gods way of messing with us? If he is really a beneviolent God wouldn't he have made us resistant to these things?
If a rational being created humans, and professed to care and love them, wouldn't he have done things differently?

OK when you try "Ol Sonuf Vaorsag Gobo Iad Balt, Lonsh Caltz Vonpho, Sobra Z-Ol Ror I Ta Nazps, od Graa Ta Malprg Ds Hol-q Qaa Nothoa Zimz, Od Commah Ta Nopbloh Zien"-it doesn't actually work! Supposed to confer invisibility- actually all it did was to make me totally anonymous to everybody-no one recognised me- even my friends and colleagues. So.. what's the proper spell for this?.. or is it the way you say it?

If you don't know that the Eastern Orthodox churches broke away from unity with the pope in 1054 and that Protestants didn't get started until 1517, respectfully, please don't answer this question.

To what extent is your religion your choice? And if you believe it is your choice, could you choose to be another religion for a day? or an hour? Not just practicing in the way they do, but truly believing with your heart like you do with your religion.

My grandmother married a man when I was arround 10, he is a mormon and she converted to his church. I have been to the church when I was younger and as I have gotten older learned a little more about their beliefs, which I dont agree with. I like the people, for the most part they are very kind. My grandmother is very overbearing, the type that wants you to do what they say when they say it, I love her very much, but I dont want my small children 8 and 6 to attend her church. I find every excuse in the world to not let them go, but she is persistant in finding out why they cant go and where we will be, etc. If I tell her that I think her religion is very off base in what I believe in (christian) then it will be a fight and I feel like I will hurt her feelings. She also watches my children after school for free for about two and a half hours. Can you help me find a way to tell her that I dont want them going, without a fight and hurt feelings?

My dad tells me that I should hang out with Christian friends (at lunch, for example) and only hang out with non-christians once in a long while. I believe this is because he wants me to have the positive influence of Christian people, but then where is the time for Ministering? Jesus ate and drank with sinners, did he not? He had not come to save those who were well, but those who were sick. Am i Right?

Are people still so uneducated about other religions they believe all Pagans are Satanists?

A few weeks ago I had a dream about a male deity, and it seemed very personal and quite comforting. I wont go into details, as I know that if it does mean something, it should be kept secret.

I was curious if anyone has ever been 'contacted' via dreams by their Gods/essess.

If you are willing, please read verses 22-42.
But please read at least verse 33.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=50&chapter=10&version=31

It is foolishness for us who are here, walking the earth 2000 years later to argue over this.
I concede that Jesus never said "I am God" but verse 33 makes it clear that those who were standing before him listing to what he had to say interpreted his words to be a claim of divinity.
Who are we to read this and disagree with them.
We weren't there. They were.
May God bless you.

Yet I saw NO protests over Abu Ghraib from any christian group. Over two thousand Iraqi CIVILIANS died just in September. All quiet on the Christian front. I'd like to understand why people get upset over one type of life over another.

I know this would be an absolute no no to a person actively practising Bible based Christianity. I'm interested in what you would make of it as a believer in God in general, Hindu, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, or even an agnostic. Do you think that a person can be close to God in any way, and use an avatar's name in vain?

"But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me."
Luke 19:27

Does this not sound like a call to kill all non-christians?

Please explain the quote, and why it is not a contradiction to the Sermon on the Mount.
