I don't know if I can really help... all I can say is that our calendars are completly different then they were many years ago. A lot of people say that Jesus was born on Christmas, but yet others say he was born sometime around May. We added more and more months to our calendar now that no one can really be sure who is accurate anymore, and who is not. I used to try to follow the stories in churchs', but nothing was ever really clear, and soo many people would fight tooth and nail that this is right, everyone else is wrong... even when proven wrong... If anyone really knows the truth, I think people would turn away anyway since they were told something else all together and that is what they will stick with.

Creation, and the Jewish Calendar, starts at ZERO.
The Christian year then (at Zero) had not been established because Jesus had not been born.

Somebody once worked it out at about 5,000 years ago. In other words, several hundred years AFTER the first pyramids were built.
