How long would it take for man to make up rules defining his message AND then begin killing in the name of God to maintain peace?

(Assume for the moment that you are convinced by God he is real.)

Looking back at history, it wouldn't take that long....to begin killing in God's name.
However, that would be missing the point, wouldn't it? Killing is violence, thus not peaceful.

A plan to eliminate others for peace sake would be on the table in about 30 seconds.

As soon as man decided he would not follow Gods direction any more.

By the way we are ALL guilty of this

But Christ became our Peace/forgiveness/way back to the Father

depends on how quick one wants to obtain "peace" by their standard, i would assume said group of people would completely eliminate their enemies a.s.a.p. "in the name of the Father"

I don't know that anyone was ever killed for having faith in Christ. For religion and threatening the purse of the Universal church yes... Jim
