If you are willing, please read verses 22-42.
But please read at least verse 33.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=50&chapter=10&version=31

It is foolishness for us who are here, walking the earth 2000 years later to argue over this.
I concede that Jesus never said "I am God" but verse 33 makes it clear that those who were standing before him listing to what he had to say interpreted his words to be a claim of divinity.
Who are we to read this and disagree with them.
We weren't there. They were.
May God bless you.

Although Jesus did not come out and say those exact words "I am God," Jesus did use the name God used when He spoke to Moses, and applied it to Himself.

Here's a few examples: Matthew 14:27, Mark 6:50, Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8, John 4:26, John 6:20, John 8:24, 28, 58, and John 13:19. There are several others I have not listed. (some of the English translations mistranslated I AM to "It is I," or "I am He.")

Jesus explicitly claimed to be God in these passages.

No, Jesus was NOT claiming to be God Almighty!
John 10:30 he says, "I and the Father are one." Did he mean they were equal??? Read further in John! In chapter 17:21, 22, Jesus prayed regarding his followers: "That they may all be one," and he added, "that they may be one EVEN AS WE ARE ONE." He used the same Greek word (hen) for "one" in all these instances!!! Obviously, Jesus' disciples do not all become part of the Trinity. But they do come to share a oneness of PURPOSE with the Father and the Son, the same sort of ONENESS that unites God and Jesus.

To claim God and Jesus are equal is just not accurate. Jesus never once claimed to be Almighty God. He was only ever called Mighty God. The Bible speaks of many 'gods' but only one ALMIGHTY God.

They were there and they believed him, that is what is written in the verses. So why should I believe what was written in these verses? If I believe what is written in those verses, why should I believe what ohers who were there believed? All of us must make our own decisions, blind faith is foolishness, faith based on personally recognized ideas, experiences and feelings is a choice. Is not free choice a basic principle of Christianity?

interesting what scriptures we use to try to prove the Trinity, when Jesus him self answered the 12 when they asked when is the time of the end , this way " no one knows the time of the end except for the father, and the father is greater then i am. if Jesus is god, if god is Jesus, and Jesus is the holy spirt, then god acting as Jesus told a lie.Since we know the bible does not lie, then the teaching of the Trinity must be a lie. therefore Jesus is not god, he is god son, but is a god in comparison to man because of what God his father has allowed him to do on his behalf

He said he is the son of God, but God is the trinity. God is the father, the son, AND the holy spirit. The son did not exist until Jesus, and the holy spirit didn't exist until Jesus ascended into heavan. But I am no expert.

Jesus said, "I and My Father are One."

To claim Jesus is not a part of the Trinity of God, is to call Jesus a liar.

Phillipians 2:6 never said he was equal to God
Contrarywise he said that it was his bread to do the will of his father. A man fell down to worship Jesus and he said do not do that it is to God alone we give sacred service.
