Yet I saw NO protests over Abu Ghraib from any christian group. Over two thousand Iraqi CIVILIANS died just in September. All quiet on the Christian front. I'd like to understand why people get upset over one type of life over another.

Thank you RJ for the blog. It was very encouraging to read such a concerned christian.

And to the other person, I didn't say muslims *didn't* commit attrocities - I was asking about christians. It's like saying "Sure Joe murdered his wife, but what about this other guy who killed two people??" Sort of irrelevant to what Joe did. It doesn't make Joe suddenly "moral by comparison."

How do you know they were civilians if the terrorists won't wear uniforms? Christians have no requirement to support the lives of murderers. That's the problem with terrorists who refuse to wear uniforms. They can hide among the truly innocent. This puts the blood of innocents on THEIR hands, not ours.

actually Pope John Paul II and his successor both condemned this war.

im more curious as to why Muslim leaders haven't been public about condemning journalist's and missionaries heads being sawed off, nuns being killed, and churches being burned as a result of a professed religious war by Muslim radicals

(yet somehow, I still don't condemn all Muslims for this grave omission - as you're willing condemn all Christians because some childish marines were hazing violent terrorists).

edit- yeah, so, muslim joe who saws peoples heads off and marine joe who acts like a stupid frat boy arent exactly analgous. muslim joe declared a holy war; while america joe declared an unjust war in iraq, and pope joe condemned him for it.

i answered your question: not only do we not all support the war in iraq, we dont all condem muslims for the heinous acts of radicals; the way you condemn all christians based on childish marines who may or may not even be christian, or george bush who's been told by many christians that this war is wrong.
