There are alot of paintings and scriptures in the bible that could be Aliens and UFO's.

As for their rings, they were so high they were dreadful, and their rings were full of eyes [portholes?]. And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. Withersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke because Yahveh descended upon it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole Mount quaked greatly.

What are your thoughts, and what would you think if UFO's did show up one day claiming to be God?

I AM A CHRISTIAN

I'm a part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have Holy Spirit power. The dye has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I'm a disciple of His. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still.

My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is secure. I'm finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals.

I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.

My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.

I won't give up, shut up, let up, until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, preached up for the cause of Christ. l am a disciple of Jesus. l must go till He comes, give till l drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops me. And when He comes for His own, He will have no problems recognizing me--my banner will be clear!!!

Written by a young African pastor: It was tacked on the wall of his house, and found after he died as a martyr for the Gospel!

Both from the US and those visiting?
I mean we cage up mad dogs don't we?
If you've never heard of the REX-84 camp, I'm not surprised. Reaghan had them built in the 80's to house illegal mexican immigrants but they were never put to use. Every state in the union has at least one or two and the biggest one is near Nome Alaska and can house over a million people.
So, do you think it's time these manned and operational camps be put to good use finally?
Here is a good link to the sites and thier size when known.

This is part 3 of the Capital Punishment questions I've been asking today. If you would like to answer the others, I value your opinion.

Please elaborate. These are your opinions, and all are equally valid.

Thank You.

I was recently asked to take over the ABF class I attend. I am an introvert. I do not feel that I am the right person for this job. I was quazi comfortable with being a small group director. I do not desire to "control" my class. I do want to see changes in the class, as I feel we tend to be apathetic. I am a big beliver in the freedoms we are given through accepting Jesus Christ as my savior. Romans 14:19-22

I do want to lead others astray, or promote what might be false doctrine. My walk is not consistent and just do not feel comfortable with this job and responsibilities.

If I decide to tell our edification director that I do not want to continue as this ABF director, how do I convey that? I feel that I may be looked down upon for not "stepping up to the plate."

This question is based on a Y!A answer. The wording on the commandment, "Thou shall not kill" has been changed just enough so that people can accept the horrendous death toll in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Lebanon. Add to this the bigotry skillfully instilled in the minds of so many Americans that Muslims are intrinsically evil and it's okay to kill them.

and, by the way, for the people who subscribe to the above propaganda, aren't you the ones who consider the Muslims killers? You should be happy because the death toll is must be approaching a million all together. Including infants and toddlers, these murderous people are all dead. Congratulations.

Q? - "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. (Quran)
Q? - Infidels? the non-(believers) muslim..right? (Quran)
All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill anyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"

WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE UR ALLAH HU TELLS U TO KILL ME IN ORDER TO GO TO HEAVEN OR MY JESUS WHO TELLS ME TO LOVE YOU BECAUSE I AM GOING TO HEAVEN AND HE WANTS U TO BE WITH ME?

It is not respectable to be anti-semetic (and very rightly so)
but is it the same for islamiphobia?

From my experience even in 'liberal' circles islamiphobia is respectable, and it is not seen as wrong to make bad commets against muslims on the pretext of feminism or anti-terrorism.

Why is not islamiphobia seen as something as equally bad as anti semitism or racism?

If everyting is predestined by God, then can we say God predestined sin. IF that is the case is God the the author of sin or originator of sin.

I am just trying to understand the teaching of predestination. Thanks

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?...A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit...Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not everyone that saith to me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven...And everyone that heareth these sayingsof mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man..."
Matthew 7:15-27

If your behaviour is not in perfect accord with the Word, do you bring forth good fruit, or evil fruit? If you do not live by the Word of Jesus, yet call yourself Christian and preach in His name, are you not a ravening wolf in sheep's clothing, a foolish man who built his house on sand?

Most people in America that support war are Christians, no all, but most. I want to know, how do Christians that support war, balance thou shall not kill with..... killing. Also, as an added bonus, answer this! Jesus never judged anyone, and talks to people about their problems and dis-agreements calmly, and beautifully, why cant we as a nation (America) talk, and try to solve problems with words?
