If everyting is predestined by God, then can we say God predestined sin. IF that is the case is God the the author of sin or originator of sin.

I am just trying to understand the teaching of predestination. Thanks

I am a Christian, But too many Christians don't even believe in Predestination, I do. BY God's foreknowledge, seeing that he knows everything even before the foundation of the world, Then By God's foreknowledge, he can Predestine that person, Based upon God already knowing what choice that person will take, then God can Predestine that person, I will use myself, I gave my life to God in 1970, But that is not when my name was written in the Lamb's book of life, My name was written there before the foundation of the world due to the fact, God knew which way I would go. Therefore God knowing the beginning to the end, He can talk about in the Old testament about a Savior, & Messiah. Now you ask about Did God make evil, to a certain point Yes, & to a certain point NO. Because God created Satan as a perfect angel until initquity was found in Satan. Predestination does not do away with our Free will. Predestination is based on the fact God Knows everything & what road each person will take. Now to that certain point where I said Yes, God did create Satan, But Satan was created as a highly angel in heaven. No sin or dis-agreement, But one day God found initquity in satan. So satan was cast out of heaven. God's plan is so perfect, our minds can not comprehend it all.

Predestination goes according to the foreknowledge of God. He is all-knowing, even to the fact that He prior made provision to redeem us from sin, for as Revelation in His Word proclaims,
Christ was slain before the foundation of the world. It is up to us to accept this providence in fact and in faith. God wants us to accept the truth, instead of have doubting questions.

Sin means to transgress against the wishes of a god, but if everything is as god wants it to be (which seems necessarily the case) then sin can't exist even if there is a god (which of course there isn't).

yes god created what we call sin. however, from gods eyes and from saints eyes this isnt sin. its all part of god. there is no evil or good in the world. that is something we humans have invented. this is not christianity, its what ive heard from different parts of the world and makes more sense than most theories.

There is nothing that is predestined or pre-ordained. We are the ones responsible for each and every response or action that we take. sometimes the consequences of those actions might not be as we expect them to be.

Sin is predestined, but it is how we repent and 'go forth and sin no more' on which we are later to be judged. Even this is predestined.

God did not originate sin. He gave man a choice. We're free to choose right or wrong and God knows exactly how we'll choice. He doesn't make us do wrong.

This old argument will not fly, because God gave us the free will to either sin, or to reject sin. It is our choice, NOT God's.

God gave man a free will, we have 2 paths to choose.
