There are alot of paintings and scriptures in the bible that could be Aliens and UFO's.

As for their rings, they were so high they were dreadful, and their rings were full of eyes [portholes?]. And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. Withersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke because Yahveh descended upon it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole Mount quaked greatly.

What are your thoughts, and what would you think if UFO's did show up one day claiming to be God?

It is my favorite theory. I dig the idea that all ancient accounts of angels, and god sightings were actually, aliens. But, to those devout christions who would think that idea is blasphemous, consider this...If god and the angels are not of this earth, they are by definition aliens, even if they are everything else you believe them to be, they are still alien to this planet.

The answer may be deeper than you know. Based upon reports of people who have been contacted by aliens or have had some type of UFO contact, there have been a few that asked the aliens about God. In every one of those incidents, the aliens reportedly denied any existance of God yet they understood what the inquirer was asking. This led me to believe that said aliens were demonic beings in nature. Sorry, I don't have the references any more.

Sean,
They are extraterrestrials. By definition, and no doubt about it. Jesus was a product of both terrestrial and extra terrestrial joining. This Christian has no problem with that concept.

Yet, it's what we do with that information. God is in control according to my beliefs. So an extraterrestrial is in charge. And the devil is an extraterrestrial who seeks to mislead people away from that truth, decieving many.

"What are your thoughts, and what would you think if UFO's did show up one day claiming to be God?"
When Jesus returns, He will not be a UFO. Apparently He will be recognized as who He is. So the Unidentified part of UFO wouldn't be applicable.

a great many civilizations predating Christianity believed that we've been genetically created by way of an alien race. seek for Sumerian prophecy's and histories to start. despite in case you have self assurance it or no longer its very exciting that all of us believed we got here from extraterrestrial beings and now that sounds like a loopy outlandish concept.

Well, I wouldn't call God that, but Angels most definitely .A book one should read . 'The Spaceships of Ezekiel by Josef F. Blumrich, since mentioned what you did in the question. Also in the Book of Kings in the Bible Elijah was taken up in ' a chariot of fire .' and the verse in the book of Luke chapter21 verse 28 "Look up for your redemption draws nigh." I would believe it.

That is exactly how I see it,You did not mention the transfiguration
We say alien because we do not understand. That in no way takes away from the majesty of God.

The demons are aliens. Revelations states that in the end, there will be strange occurances in the sky. Satan has access to the heavens as we see it. Heaven is even beyond all that.

Nah, the writers of The Bible would never be so cryptic as to make it seem like a million things. They were always straight-shooters.

No `they are cosmic, not aliens. Altho I do believe aliens may very well exist. This universe is HUMONGOUS, it makes sense to me that God had other versions of life to create.
