It would make no difference. Religion is nothing more than a belief system. And there is no shortage of belief systems.
Religion has never been the problem; it's the overzealous adherents to those respective religions who have used it as justification for all sorts of malfeasance.
Remove religion, and you'll simply have something else take its place. Political parties would probably become the next "religion" of religion ceased to exist. And given how they already snipe at each other, do you really think the world would be better off if THEY represented our next "religion"?

Christians do no longer own morality. Buddhists have physically powerful morals, and check out in technology. we are able to promise to maintain the atheists in line. ;) There are memories that tutor that there is an inverse correlation between intelligence/education and concept in Gods. Atheists as an entire are very clever, and extra beneficial than effectual of strolling a united states. rather u.s. the place there are a number of checks and balances to the indiscretions of a single individual. If we had a rouge president, i'm particular one in all the different 2 branches could step as much as handle the situation. only as a results of fact communist dictators screwed up, does now no longer advise that one and all socialistic ideas are risky. The revolutions of 1848 show that the monarchies that adapted to the appeals of their human beings, survived. people who took the heard line of historic-form monarchy perished. u.s. can take a lesson from this, i do no longer evaluate some average socialist reforms will destroy the country. it ought to easily make concerns extra beneficial.

You are asking to abolish a way of life that has been going on for 2,000 years.
I'm sorry if this offends you, but i think it's better to fully support a democratic and free society and her efforts to end religious oppression than to abolish a way of life.
You won't abolish the people or it's cultures...you will obliterate their need to seek religios control and establish Muslim law through aggressive acts.
You might think thats terrible...
but i swear to you...if extreme islam wins this...
You will be walking to market barefoot and men that don't approve of your industry will be whipping your feet and beating on you until you get the family shopping done.
Your face will be covered.
And you will be less important than the village food crops.
I'd rather see North Korea and Iran nuked, than ever see that happen to the women of my country.

It would help but would`nt solve all the problems .
We as humans are actually more uncivilized than our animals .
We would find something else to war about whether it be Race ,dialects, language ,height ,weight,or the size of our homes .
Animal at least kill for survival ( food ) we kill for sport .
There will be peace someday -When the earth is no longer in existence.

It would be better if there was a thousand gods than a thousand religions. But no religion? I don't think so. Humans need to have something to blame their errors on. Maybe One religion would be best. Which one? Definately not one that exists today.

True peace can only come from God! I don't equate God with religion. So, getting rid of religion may help but you'd also have to get rid of the critical, greedy, hateful and ruthless. That sure would wipe the world right out of most people, wouldn't it.

The chief problem is that all religions don't believe in God as He is. Many have their own vision of who He is that is just not accurate. And to compound that, there are opposing groups within certain faiths who are willing to kill each other to prove their version of a loving god is more correct. That is one of the greatest mysteries to me. How do you justify killing others in the name of your god?
If everyone who professes to have faith put as much effort into learning to know God as they put into destroying others then they might realize that God doesn't need their help deciding who should live and who should die.
Even He doesn't force people to believe, it's a free choice. Why people of different faiths won't recognize that escapes me. God is more than capable of keeping track of who believes what. But you are on the right track. Eventually everyone will share the same belief. The difference is that God will implement the change, not renegade fanatics of all faiths who have no idea who He is anyway.

If you dont watch it....RELIGION can send you straight to hell. Thats the problem the Pharisees had. They could quote you all kinds of scripture and did good works but that wont get you to heaven. Jesus' blood will, tho.
Im not religious...Im saved by grace.
The world would be a better place without religion...instead turning to Salvation.

No. It would be better for the pursuit of world peace if everybody were educated and encouraged to follow their own religion CORRECTLY. One of the major goals of religion is to guide people toward moral behavior.

I once heard a saying
"People spend to much time making the world a better place from which to go to hell"
While making this world a better place is very important, we need to have a balance.Going to Heaven needs to be our main focus while we should be a good steward of what God has given us
