Who is the founder of Hindu religion?
Normally a philosopher/prophet comes up with a system revolutionary or at least that did not exist before. Accepting the new system disciples and other people start following the religious system and for the new religion that person is the founder.
In case of Hinduism
The system existed from time unmemorable.
Hindu scriptures talk about things that happened at periods of time, whose specified count is much much higher than the period well known to history scholars of current time. (yuga, manvantara, kalpa etc.)
Even the scientific excavations show the existence of well-developed worship, at very early periods.
There were, of course, very many philosophers who came up with new systems. However given the wide spectrum of Hinduism, its accommodativeness towards new ideas and philosophies all the new changes made it a healthy religion that does not get stagnant.
People used their discretion to find the suitable paths through the wisdom of one or more philosophers and there was a real diverse system.
So, there is No Single (Human) Founder for Hinduism and it existed from time unexplored, as a religion.
For that purusha the celestials are the (first) worshippers.

Hinduism does not have one single founder! It evolved from Brahminism. The sacred texts of the hindus inclute four Vedas and many upanishads. One of the central doctrines of hinduism is mentioned in the Rig Veda which says, "Let noble ideas flow in from all directions" thus hinduism is very open to other ideas and continuously evolves instead of being stuck in the one book. Most hindus individually worship their favourite deity but it is the respect for another persons right to relate to god in a different way that classifies hinduism as polytheistic. Even the christian and muslim converts in India identify with their hindu caste.

In fact Hinduism is nothing but it is the Sanatan or Vedantic Dharma which is a way of life rather than a religion.
The sanatan dharma was founded by the Great Vedas, Upnishads, Shrutis. There is no ONE person who founded it.
It is a great religion and civilisation which has remained intact for thousands of year.
However during recent few centuries it beacme hinduism, a name which was given by the invaders.
To be precise, as the invaders could not pronounce the sound of H [ it was missing in thier language ] they started calling Sindhu as Hindu. Hence H was replaced by S and it became Hindu. Later on it was mixed up with the religion.
The word Hindu doesnt appear in any of the 4 vedas.
I am a muslim and I am proud to be living in India with my loving hindu brothers.

Founder of Every Bonified religion is God Himslef.
Since Messangers or sages simply carry out his orders.
Sanatan Dharma, Does not regard the time of the messanger as the beginning of Instruction of God..
As God is Eternal, so the teaching of God is also Eternal.
