So we all know about the proof of Evolution thing where the guy dr dino offers 250,000 for anyone who can prove to his satisfaction the big bang and evolution, and apparently theres some counter offer for money for prove of God,

I was wondering, does anyone feel as I do, that these kinds of things, monetary rewards for proving a world view, are silly and trivialize what should be a collective planetary discourse?

Is there a God? This question is a great question. Perhaps the greatest ever, ever asked. How did the human being come about, God or some other process, the current scientific theory is that of Evolution. Perhaps an equally great question.

Shouldn't we as a human race collectively discuss our views, discuss our reasons, pushing one another to discover that which is the Truth of Reality, no matter the end result?

Shouldn't this be done peacefully and with all intent of soul searching and reasonable end result,

Am I crazy for thinking these things?

What sort of heaven, heavenly being, would say "ye" do err, greatly, and alway; Then let "ye" folk who err alway bind or loose anything on earth & thereby also in heaven... if such folk do err, greatly, and alway? Would they who do alway err not alway loose law(worketh wrath) unto their own dis-comfort, even their own destruction, if law: the ministration of death, eventually becomes the "no escape" sort of destruction?

Perhaps such ensnaring is from law law "heavens" on "high"; Not from God our Father nor Son of God in "heaven": "higher than the heavens".

Perhaps God our Saviour higher than God our Destroyer on high. Perhaps Grace is "above" such Law Law on high, in heavens, is why ppl recovering from getting "high" speak of a "higher" power?

do you think it's rude of people in your church to say stuff to you if you haven't gone to service lately?for example in my case they say to me:"Jesus can perform miracles still, look who's showed up" or "you've been lost, where were you all this time?" do you think there's a way of telling those people that the things they say are hurtful to me,and that they should stop saying them? that really gets me down, and i don't want to go to church, because i don't want to see those people.any advice and prayers welcome!

Before eve ate the fruit, she either knew that obedience to god is good and disobedience is evil, or she did not know. If she didn't, she cannot be blamed for disobeying god. If eve did know, then she already had the knowledge of good and evil. Something that eating the fruit was supposed to provide her with. Any comments on this?

I've heard different definitions of repentance. Some say you must turn from your sins before you can receive Christ. Isn't that then a work? I thought works wouldn't take us to heaven. Another definition of repentance is "stop trusting in your way, your plan, and accept God's plan (through Christ)." This makes more sense to me. What do you think? Especially when I read that God himself repented (changed his mind) in the Bible.

The Biblical description of the flood in Genesis chapter 6, 7 and 8 indicates that the deluge was universal and it destroyed every living thing on earth, except those present with Noah (pbuh) in the ark. The description suggests that the event took place 1656 years after the creation of Adam (pbuh) or 292 years before the birth of Abraham, at a time when Noah (pbuh) was 600 years old. Thus the flood may have occurred in the 21st or 22nd Century B.C.
This story of the flood, as given in the Bible, contradicts scientific evidence from archaelogical sources which indicate that the eleventh dynasty in Egypt and the third dynasty in Babylonia were in existence without any break in civilisation and in a manner totally unaffected by any major calamity which may have occurred in the 21st century B.C. This contradicts the Biblical story that the whole world had been immersed in the flood water.

so whats wrong here

The days 2,000 years ago, if thats when the fables in the book were written, may have had days in a totally differant structure........... perhaps the 'day of rest' actually goes from Tuesday midday to Wednesday lunchtime on the modern day accepted calendar system.
To people assume too much in the bible book and relate those assumptions to modern day living because thats what is considered 'normal' ???
