Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.
Or sin is anything that hurts your relationship with God.
A thought, word, deed, or omission is not deliberate is not a sin.

You are right there are a lot of things today that are not in the scripture but by nature you are a sinner and you know right from wrong. If there is ever a question about something you do is a sin or always ask this question. Will bring glory to God if I do it? If not then don't do it. 1 Corinthians 10: 31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Just do the best you can with what you do know. It's true that the scriptures don't talk about how to use the internet, or tv, or other modern issues. I believe in modern revelations that help address some of those, but if that's not in your belief system, may I suggest turning to your heart. When you're really trying your best to be a good person, you can usually feel it in your heart when something isn't right. Just trust thoses feelings.

the Holy spirit guides you and covicts you when you sin, sin usually feels right for a brief season and then makes you feel bad and dirty afterwards. sin is usualy when you stop following God's laws and commandments and do your own thing which reomoves any protection and help you may get from god. but if you are quick to repent and confess your sins and not repeat them. you are forgiven and given a clean slate although you may still get the earthly consquences of your actions.you reap what you sow.

if u dont know u have to ask areligious person and somehow deep in u u know if it is asin or not
if u can do it infront of whole people its not asin but this is not general

My understanding is that if we know something is wrong and do it anyway, it is a sin.
