I know us Pentecostals both Oneness and Trinity speak in tongues, I was wondering if Baptist or Methodist do as well.?

Before someone one answers this question, if you don't understand this gift I advice you don't to speak against the holy spirit, if you don't understand the gift you better off not answering this question.

Blaspheming the Holy Ghost is a unforgiven sin, so if you don't understand it or believe in it better off not to answer the question at all.

Because technically everything is brainwashing if it convinces you that life has meaning beyond what pleases us. I figure that our lives can only seem purposeful if we lie to ourselves. Religion, art, family, politics, drugs. They serve no other purpose but to dispense endorphins, and it's part of our instincts to desperately seek ways of raising our serotonin level. However, the more we learn, the harder it gets. If religious people have an easier time then why shouldn't we just leave them alone? Even if they turn America into a theocracy, at least we'll have something to fight for (giving us another outlet for more endorphins).

I am a Christian. I am on here a lot and answer a lot of questions about Religion, but, I find I'm stumped. My daughters friend, who happens to be a family friends son, says he is an atheist. I can answer questions on here, but to talk Religion to him I get tongue tied. , and go completely blank. He's so young, he's 14. He's a smart kid, but very troubled, but a good boy. How do I talk to him? What do I say? Why do I get tongue tied about a topic I know a lot about? I really want to talk Religion with him, he brings it up and wants to talk about it, But, I just don't know what to say to him.

Isn't that logically impossible?

The act of changing one's mind is by definition temporal. At Time t you believe something and at Time t+1 you believe something else.

If time means nothing to you since you're eternal, omniscient, and omnipotent, then it's absolutely impossible for you to change your mind.

correct?

If you disagree, be certain to explain IN LOGICAL TERMS how it's possible.

Handwaving statements that are not backed up logically will be reported as non-answers.

(James 4:12) "There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy ..."

We know that God the Son, Jesus, is the One and Only Judge. Only He is able to decide where a person will spend eternity... either Heaven or Hell.

If I say "I know Joe is going to Hell" or "Joe is going to Hell"... do you believe I judged Joe?

If I say "I know Jane is going to Heaven" or "Jane is going to Heaven".... do you believe I judged Jane?

Pre-marital, is sex out of the confines of marriage. To have many partners with which to choose from.

Pre-marriage, is sex with someone you intend on being married to. You have sex before marriage. Some see this as an idol and get it out of the way. Who is to say that this is not ordained of God? Maybe they sleep together before they marry and stop to seek marriage counseling. When they get to the alter consecrate themselves in Christ blood and all sins commited beforehand are washed clean. Where they are seen as virgins.

What if somebody told somebody else that he/she will prove that god exists by winning the lottery? And if that person wins...(given the odds of that happening is astronomical) do you think he will become a beliver and what are your moral aspects of it? Like, is it right in the first place to make a claim like that?

Leviticus says it's a sin.
Now I know that many christians think that the OT has been overturned and doesn't apply anymore, so that's not what I'm asking.

I want to know why your god EVER felt that this was a sin.
What was the rationale?
Or was he just trying to make life difficult for the sake of making it difficult???

Oh, and if he thought that this was so bad at one point, why did he change his mind?
How can a being who is perfect, omniscient, and "beyond time" even change his mind to begin with?
