Those verses mean that if a person is humble and thinks about their faults then they will respect u for setting them straight. However, proud and stupid ones don't like to be told anything so they will ridicule. Regardless, u have to be very careful and non judgemental when u do it. It also helps if u lead a life of good examples cause no one respects a hypocrite or a self rightous person.

He/She says, "Oh sure, whatever you say" and then he/she will forget what kind of non-sence you were blabbing about and then commit new and evil sins more and more.
Stop Sin? Maybe you have not seen the bitter truth about this planet yet. Yeah right, stop sin, thats a good one!
By the way, the people who wrote those stupid holy books were according to me some no-good politicians and sinisters who trapped the minds of some help-less and innocent people and today, it is because of these holy books humans are so evil and corrupted.
Please throw away that bible and live your life as a Communist. That is what I call life!

What happens when you tell a "sinner" to stop sinning? The same thing that happens when you tell a christian to stop believing. Beliefs clash and anger, hard feelings and resentment are the result.

The above responses is what happens, just as the proverbs say.
You tried to help them, and they did to you as they did to Jesus.
If you keep it up they will get extremely violent.
Yet you still must do this in a loving caring way and pray that they truly will get saved.
I wouldn't mind if you sent a little of that prayer my way too, bud.

It's not my place to tell them that ... show them the scriptures and so they can read what the Lord saids about what they are doing... also pray/fast for the person who is going astray and allow the Holy Spirit to show them the error of their way.

If your lucky they will just stare at you like your stupid. But most likely they will turn around and beat you up. Why you ask. Well because im an athiest and the last bible thumping A@@ that told me i was a sinner regreted ever crossing my path. It is really quite annoying and retarded that you get into other peoples business. Keep your bible and yourself to yourself.

We "sinners" who you are referring to are laughing inwardly and outwardly at the incorrect judgment you have made. Did you forget that even Christians fall into that category?
