Isn't that logically impossible?

The act of changing one's mind is by definition temporal. At Time t you believe something and at Time t+1 you believe something else.

If time means nothing to you since you're eternal, omniscient, and omnipotent, then it's absolutely impossible for you to change your mind.

correct?

If you disagree, be certain to explain IN LOGICAL TERMS how it's possible.

Handwaving statements that are not backed up logically will be reported as non-answers.

"huh?" given everything you just said, it is still impossible for a god to change its mind. that was the point.

God the eternal, transcending time and space, does not change at all. However, God created time and space and acts within them. It is therefore possible that God's actions within time could be described as "changing his mind." This is the human perception, and not the eternal reality. An example is that when God saw how evil humans had gotten, he "was sorry he created them." Of course, the omniscient God must "have known" what would happen, yet it was allowed to happen. Perhaps God's greater intention, to create people with free will, was worth the evil that was bound to result from it. So in one sense God changed his mind, but in the larger sense he "did" not.

Sorry. Faulty premise. This Being simply is. It Knows. It always has.known although I mention this only to provide context for you because we exist in a temporal plane and it does not.

Your Being never reaches a conclusion, which by definition is a thought process that also requires time (even if its a Divine nano second). Since it never concludes anything it changes nothing. Its very nature is.

I haven't figured out how to reply to your response, so I put it here What I am tring to tell you is that your question iteslf is illogical. Surely you can see that? you have created a trap for yourself. You want logical discourse, and then get cranky when you get some. Sorry, but we're done here.

God is perfect, He does not make mistakes. I see that everyday. Changing his mind would mean that He made a "mistake". He would also be aware of any changes to the world, as in refrigerators which inevitably would make shrimp fine to eat. Therefore, it is the men who wrote that book that were wrong. If it was so "inspired by God", there would be no drastic changes in laws.

Correct, i'm glad that you have made this statement concerning God. many Christians believe that God changed His mind about so many things in the Bible. My God is not the author of confusion.

You don't explain in "logical terms" why you believe God exists outside of time. Existing outside of time isn't implicit in perfection.

It is logically impossible, but this does not exclude the possibility.

Because our existence is also logically impossible.

It is logically impossible! You are correct!

The omniscient being who exists outside of time.....has given everyone of us "freewill"....and the only thing that changes is us.

Man created time, nothing else cares about it. Even your dog don't care what time it is, why would God.
