Notice that infertile people can have sex, but not children. Infertile is not to be confused with impotent.

I've recently started dating a Catholic and I've gone to Mass with him a few times- but I'm not really sure what's going on some of the time. He explained to me about communion, but I'm reluctant to ask him anything more. I wasn't raised in a religious home and I don't really want this guy to know how little I know not only about Catholicism but religion in general. Any help? Serious answers only please!

Seems like someone doesn't like people achieving their personal goals and killed people for it at one point in time.

...fourth-dimensional framework, have we not created the physical structure capable of supporting a self-aware universe?

And if we look an animate matter (life), do we not see two common features shared by all life: self-preservation and the urge to reproduce?

And isn't self-preservation and the urge to reproduce the rudimentary features of what we call Love?

Could we not, then, argue in favour of a self-aware universe that manifests its conciousness through Love?

My ancestors in Ireland were oppressed just like Negroes from Africa were, and for that matter, my jewish ancestors and living relatives were murdered for thousands of years. In egypt, Africa, and germany. Why can't we have our own college fund and advancement organizations? How about WET magazine?

If your god made them physically both male and female, wouldn't any form of sex be against the teachings of the bible?

Also, are they doomed to hell since they cannot obey god's commandment to "be fruitful and multiply" if they're not allowed to have sex?

Did god create hermophrites to be doomed to hell: Either have sex (with someone who shares the same gender) and mulitply, or never have sex (and thus not multiply)

Doesn't the presence of hermaphrodites prove that either:
(1) the bible isn't to be taken literally
OR
(2) god is a sick f*ck who created people doomed to hell, no matter what they do

I just feel so sorry for them. It's not their fault. Religion is a very tough thing to come to terms with. They can't even think for themselves... It's this little "I'm right and your wrong" box that is drawn by scriptures that were written long ago...

Pity is NOT a good emotion, yet I pity the poor fools who can't see that there is room for many different religions in this world. I am NOT against religion of any kind...I think that spirituality brings goodness to the masses.

It's just sad...

I'm a Humanist and don't pray, except when I'm out with my grandchildren. It's their mother's wish that they be reared as Baptists.

The idea that everything is one, "all in all" was in the mayan's head for a long time. How does the Bible refute this idea, and can you provide some Scriptures for it ? Thanks in advance :)

The primary particles that make up my body have existed since the Big Bang. All primary particles in the universe merge together in the past within the BB event.

From a 4D perspective, I am one with the dinosaurs whose bodies absorbed the particles that now exist in my body, and we are both one with the star that brought the primary particles together forming elements like carbon.

Do you see yourself as existing in only three dimensions, or do you see yourself connected to everything (the religious aspect to this question) through a fourth-dimensional perspective.
