The primary focus of witch hunts was single women who owned property. Pre-text for church authorities to steal and enrich themselves.

All he does is offer people words of encouragement, what is witch-like about that?

however, women were accused of being witches for the most moronic of reasons. Example, a priest fancies a woman - she has bewitched his mind - no, dude, you are just lusting - what happens, she gets burned at the stake just cause some priest couldn't stop himself from lusting after her. It was a terrible thing what happened to all those women.

Yes, because the Puritans didn't want to see any happy people EVER.

Not to mention his "unchristian" teachings and the fact that he's rich.
