I was 13 when I accepted the Holy Spirit. Things have changed since then. So how old were you? Just asking.

The obviuos reason would be terrorism but it seems to me as if it is much more than that.
If people hate Islam, why is it the fastest growing religion in the world?
What is the reason for people converting to Islam?
By the way I'm a Muslim.

Why do all thoes Biologist call it a THEORY, if its a proven fact, because a theory is a hypothetical idea.
Why do they keep bringin out the next paper that says they've found the proof, if they already have the proof?
Can it be proven in a lab? NO
Are there absolutes? NO
How many assumptions do you need to make inorder for it to be true? Way, way too many.
When you start making assumptions, the science ceases to exist therefore evolution is a THEORY, not fact.

Proverbs 21:25

The sluggard's craving will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work.

Proverbs 6: 9-11

How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.

Would Jesus have quit his carpenter job and got 'free money' if the government back then gave out welfare and food stamps? SERIOUS QUESTION THX :o}

In response to another question that I asked earlier today, a lot of replies to that question have given me another set of questions to ask.

Jesus was supposedly in existance before his birth and since the beginning of time. Ok. This is why this doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Throughout the old testament there is mention of a few of heavens inhabitants. The Devil, God, Michael the Angel, the Angel of death, other angels etc. Yet, there is no mention of God having a son or that son living in heaven and taking part in any of the happenings on heaven and earth. Am I to think that the son of God basically twiddled his thumbs in heaven, not doing anything worth mentionning until he was born and then died? Also, if Jesus was alive before he was born this brings up another question.

In the old testament, they said Jesus's name was going to be Immanuel... they didn't know his correct name before?

I just read the following [quoted below from a Yahoo news story] and would like to know how tolerance for gays causes "attacks" on religious "freedom":

By expanding the discussion from marriage to religious expression, social conservatives say they will reconnect with religious voters and religious leaders who don't necessarily view same-sex unions as a threat. "There are a number of pastors that said, 'Look, we don't get involved in politics, I'm not going to get involved in this issue, I just want to preach the gospel,'" said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council. "When they realize their ability to preach the gospel may very well be at stake, they may reconsider their involvement." ...>

a) we have to develop our own philosophy of life and not have it handed down by our parents, neighbors or cult leaders

b) we accept that we are not going to live forever.

Seems to me that Christianity is the real cop-out

I'm sure none of you hardcore Christins will. No you'll probably freak out. But shouldn't everyone, even the son of God, know what love feels like? If it wasn't for that fact that I would be scared of people killing me I might actually try writing a FICTION book about it.

Obviously many people do not follow their religion's message of peace and love. Maybe because there are mixed messages in the religion, but the message is in there. So is it better to try to get people to follow the peaceful message, or to just discard religion, and stop hating people in the name of God all together? Without God, no Jihad. Without God, no text that says who is unworthy.

Every day many of you get into a car and dump a ton of posion into the Air that God created and bit by bit you are killing the planet.

This posion is in your homes. It is in the room used by your babies, your grandma and pa.

This posion can be measured.

This posion can be SEEN from a Criuse ship off the Alaskan Coast.

Many of you do it every day.

One day you may have to answer to God about this.

Do you have a good, Christian, none selfish answer as to why you help create the so-called "greenhouse" gases, smog and why you use, daily, a chemical substance that is a known carsenogenic?

It also finaces the Islamic regime that wants world Islam and will kill any infidel.

You're helping them buy those swords!

Come on...

Justify yourself with witnesses.

God wants witnesses.

Justify your killing of God's world!

Why do people think Christians are so weird? I mean seriously--why do people think that? It's not like we blow ourselves up in the middle of the street or fly planes into buildings in the name of our God. We don't worship cows or fat bald men. We don't believe people die and come back as other objects/animals/people. We don't believe people evolved from apes or that a huge explosion started the universe. We don't have like 10 husbands/wives and have like 30 kids with each. So why do people think we are so weird? I mean seriously--what do you think of when you hear the word "Christian"? Because whatever you're thinking or have been thinking is probably wrong. I mean, I'm sitting here on the internet, eating doritos, and listening to Aerosmith--and I'm a Christian! Yet some people have stereotyped us into these on-fire-for-Jesus freaks who condemn people to hell and shove religion down people's throats when we don't. Why does everyone think we are so freaking weird?

Anyone know of a good list that separates what each of the christian religions believe in that keep them as separate religions? (ie. what's different from catholicism, baptists, evangelicals, lutherans, methodists, presbyterians, angelican, protestants (although I think protestants are all the christianities that are non-catholic?), and any others I may have missed.

What would be great is if there was like, and excel spreadsheet breaking it all down. Can anyone help with this?
