Why do all thoes Biologist call it a THEORY, if its a proven fact, because a theory is a hypothetical idea.
Why do they keep bringin out the next paper that says they've found the proof, if they already have the proof?
Can it be proven in a lab? NO
Are there absolutes? NO
How many assumptions do you need to make inorder for it to be true? Way, way too many.
When you start making assumptions, the science ceases to exist therefore evolution is a THEORY, not fact.

blackarce: evidence that is purely circumstancial and based on assumptions.
This is not science. I could use the same evidence evolutionists use to proove their own THEORY, and show it from a creationsits perspective. Evolution is a THEORY

Lucky Focker, I know that my God cannot be proven, that was never in question. I can produce evidence that supports my claims, same as any evolutionist

I certainly agree with you! If there have always been colonies of apes and colonies of men, why was there never even been the ghost of a colony of creatures part ape, part man? If they went extinct, then why didn't the apes go extinct?

Another pathetic liar for jesus.

So tell me, how much education have you had in biology and evolution? Taken any college classes, read any scientific journals? Based on your questions the answer is clearly NONE!

1.) A THEORY is an explanation for an observed phenomenon NOT a hypothesis (this alone tells me you know NOTHING about science in general). There is a theory of electromagnetism, gravity, nuclear decay, etc. Every heard of the General Theory of Relativity? Does gravity exist? Like gravity evolution occurs, the theory is used to describe HOW it occurs.

Proof: All dogs that exist today have been selectively bread from wolves.

2.) They are continually finding more proof. All of the forms of genetic mutation have been discovered and thoroughly documented. Evolution has been witnessed in bacteria, viruses, insects, birds, and mammals.

3.) It has been proven in a lab so many times only an ignorant fool would claim otherwise. The evolution of bacteria and viruses can be witnessed in a matter of months. Ever wonder why you have ot get a flu shot every year? Because new strains keep evolving to fight the antibiotics!

4.) Absolutes?

5.) No assumptions are made. Every aspect of the ToE have been corroborated by natural observed phenomenon.

You are a sad and willfully ignorant individual.

Addition:

Here is a good definition of the cultural and scientific definition of theory:

I'm sure you won't bother reading it.

A Scientific Theory is something that has tons of evidence to back it up, but cannot be fully proven. Gravity is a Scientific Theory. The Theory of Relativity is thought to be true, but cannot be fully proven.

I can prove (micro) evolution with some colored bits of paper and piece of cloth in five minutes. Those bits of paper that match the cloth better are harder to pick up and so "survive" longer.

Maybe, if you knew anything about science, the scientific definition of the word theory, or the scientific method, you would understand more of the world around you?

Science has the ability to adapt to new discoveries. It was once thought that evolution happened at a regular pace, new discoveries were added to the knowledge about evolution and now we know that evolution happens both gradually and in quick bursts during times of great change (when previous random mutations prove to be more beneficial for dealing with a change in the environment, and any members of the species without those mutations die off).

Science is always changing, always finding out more. Rarely does this mean that what was thought true before is thrown out (though science has the ability to remove incorrect information without losing the correct theories).

Just because you want to believe something that you believe to disagree with scientific theories doesn't make those theories wrong. Believe whatever nonsense you like, it is your right, but keep your religion out of science class.

It has been proven in the field and the lab, without needing to make assumptions.

Gravity is a theory. We know the effect happens, but the THEORY of relativity is known to be either wrong or incomplete (it fails to account for quantum gravity).

Germ Theory is a theory. We know people get sick, but we can only prove correlation, not causality, not 100%.

Thermodynamics is a theory. If we could find a free energy source, it'd be soundly disproven. And since we can't prove a free energy system doesn't exist, except referencing Thermodynamics, this means thermodynamics is potentially falsafiable.

Evolution happens. The theory is those things that describe its process.

We know how evolution happens, in the large picture. It is the combined effect of mutation and genetic drift, nothing more, in the span of geologic time. Sure, we're missing some of the details, but do you REALLY want to define your God in terms of the gaps in science? If you do, your god will get smaller and smaller and more and more impotent with every passing day.

Some God, huh?

Have you investigated the difference between the common usage definition of "theory" and the scientific? You might want to: it would explain a lot. Also, if you ever try studying Evolution, you'll find it is quite heavily supported by empirical evidence.

I guess you missed the story a few months ago. Scientists have found that a bird has adapted its beak due to its feeding habits. Evolution in process. Not the missing link, but a little more proof non the less.

I'm with Captain Atheist, I'm sick of explaining. They have found thousands of fossils to prove evolution - THOUSANDS !!!!

They have found the bi-pedal hip bone, do you even know what that is ??

They have found skulls increasing in brain size from primate to man - I have seen this evidence with my own eyes

Let me ask you the same questions about your god. do you have any absolute to prove god? Can you prove him in a lab

DO SOME RESEARCH ON YOUR OWN !!!

Questions like this make me weep for the future.

You really do make me very sad. Someone else educate this woman. I'm going to go try to find some positivity. :(

it will stay a theory until we find the 'missing link', which won't happen
