In Genesis the Bible explains how God created the earth and certain people find it absurd and illogical that God created Adam
with dust and clay. Obviously science explains that all the living things and matter are composed by atoms. The structural organization of humans begins with the atom>molecules>cells>tissues, etc. Obviously on the present time I don't believe that I am made of dust and clay, and I doubt that any Christian believes in that, and if they do believe they think that God made the first human that way, or maybe is a metaphor. My opinion is that God also created atoms and cells that allow life to exist.

If the Bible were more specific with the creation using scientific explanations of how everything was created, would people have more respect and find it more logical? Not only Genesis, also the other books of the Bible as well.

I seriously don't expect atheists telling me YES. I just though of this and wanted to get it out of my mind. They will problaby think t

I am educated in muslim customs and practices, but on reading about Muslim astronauts, I just have to ask this.... I know that Muslims all over the world when they pray face Mecca. Where I live that would be generally east southeast. In space there really isn't much for directions, so, I must ask, in space, how would a muslim hep the 5 prayers and what direction would the astronaut face? Or in space does it really matter as it would be quite dificult to achieve the proper positions for prayer?

I want to get the word out that yes, God created the earth, the stars, the sun, and also he created love, and he created us so that we could love each other and share in dialogue about him and our concern for each other. I want to organize it anonymously, in a park or something in the area, and get the word out all over about the date and location. People should just bring themselves and show up and see what happens. What can I do to start this up?

How can archaic mythological concepts developed from early civilization be revamped and rewritten and presented as viable truth? Why do modern believers pick and choose pieces of ancient writings, pretend other ancient writings are not valid, and create a belief system based on something engineered and re-engineered by men over the ages?

but when a known atheist we all loved dies, Steve Irwin, so many are unwilling to admit that according to the very same beliefs they use to warn me, that he's brimstone fodder being tortured for all eternity right now?

Is it that they realize how horribly unjust and cruel that would make their god and when faced with a real world application of their nonsense, they find it distasteful? Is it only acceptable when it's a vague threat, but not when it's a real world application?
