jesus went to india and studied the buddhist religion when he was 14 years old,then added buddhist beliefs to his speakings,anyone hear this before,it was on the history channel this weekend,they have documentation of it,sooooooo did jesus not believe his "daddy's" teachings and was looking for better answers and solutions to his religious beliefs,they found the scrolls with his name entered on the manuscript kept of all students,and christians believe the dead sea scrolls right?so they should believe this aswell?

why can't Christians realize that they still have to keep out of public affairs? EVEN IF they are completely correct, freedom of religion requires that this country not endorse any religion above another, or above non-faith, as well as not discriminate against any one belief. Christians, if you enjoy more privliges, such as "God" on the money, "God" in the pledge, "God" in the president, "God" in courthouses, that is un-American. Why doesn't that "click" for you?

Hi! My husband's family is partially Jewish in ethnicity and had relatives killed at Auschwitz during Hitler's regime but we have lost touch with any remaining Jewish family members.

We are Christians, but would like to help our children understand their Jewish heritage. In particular, is there a way to celebrate/commemorate holidays such as Hannukkah or other holidays without converting to Judaism?

Are there any websites you can suggest?

Their prayers start with "Holy Mary mother of God" That would put her as God and creator if she in fact was the mother of God. I am confused. Shouldn't they be praying to God rather than Mary? And also I have been around Catholics and they confess their sins to another man istead of God, doesn't the bible say that if you confess your sins to God you will be forgiven? It doesn't say to another man does it?

So my boyfriend is currently mad at me and refuses to speak to me because I said that there is a theory that since man wrote the Bible, that the Bible is flawed, and that man could introduced his own ideas into the Bible.

Now I was not even saying that I agreed with the "idea" I was just pointing out like some "reasons" that this could be true.

He says I was challenging his religion, I just say it was conversation. What do you think?

I have been reading her pseudo-transcended nonsense attacking NOT religions, but only the religion of Christianity. She's just another atheist trying to push her uneducated views onto people. I'm not a religious person, per se... an educated person about religions, and comparitive religious studies, yes! But I have no bias for me to conclude that this persons mere presence here is to spread her nazi fascist views in a country where all are free to practice their religion, and speak freely... yes, even her... But to push her hatred purely for her own entertainment is, in the least irresponsible, and in reality shows her contempt for people with different views other than the myopic moronic viewpoints she spews.

I'd debate you on your narrow biased bigoted viewpoint anytime anywhere... just put up an email address.

I know many of you Christians would say to love her and to forgive her... You would say that she was abused in some way and it's not her fault. That's why you're so nice...

How can Christian men control themselves knowing that OTHER MEN can look at their women? This drives me insane! I'm really insecure and we all know that we can't trust men or women to control themselves when they see skin! C'mon people, let's cover every square inch of our bodies! It prevents lust and stuff!
