The Lord's Prayer, Psalm 23, Psalm 30: 6 because it of speaking prosperity in getting your blessings. One thing I like to do is read a scripture and then I pray. Prayers that you say in your own are the most powerful ones.

I didnt know there were different, prayers, I know there is a "format of Praying" which is the "Our Father" but other than that, the bible does not specify any other prayer.

Although I must confess Psalm 51 is a very good prayer that David made, and has sometimes helped me when I'm feeling spiritually unhealthy.

If you mean within the contents of the Bible its gotta be the Lords prayer "Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen." If you mean my favorite prayer within the church it would have to be "Glory be to the father, and to the son, and to the holy ghost, as it was in the beginning is now ans ever shall be. World without end. Amen." If you mean in the context of my personal life I dont know because of the simple fact that its a conversation, so it doesnt really follow any distint wording.

The Lords Prayer, that is the one that Jesus himself taught us and is a guide on how we are supposed to Pray to God, we can use our own words within the guideline of the Lords Prayer.

I am feeling the draw to the Rosary more all the time also.

Peace!

One from my heart. I do not say the same words over and over. A prayer should be a conversation with God.

If I carried on a conversation with a person and just said the same words over and over, they would get bored.

Jesus said not to repeat the same words - Matthew 6:7

John 17. Jesus is praying. I think it is so awesome because He prays for us. Us in the future....vs 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word. You can read the rest.
Psalm 116 is pretty neat too.
I Love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

I like this verse because it tells me that God bends over (inclined) to hear my prayer to him. I went through a sad time in my life and verse 3 & 4 just spoke to me.

1 Chronicles 4:10

"Oh Lord that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain."

I pray this prayer all the time! I love it, and It shows me how much God really does care, even though we are having a bad day!

One that is sincere and from a humble heart. Prayers shouldn't be memorized and rattled off, they should be reflections of what is in the heart and meant intentionally.

A reflection on prayer

I asked God for strength that I might achieve: I was made week that I might learn humbly to obey

I asked for health that I might do great things I was given illness that I might do better things.

I asked for riches that I might be happy;I was given poverty that I might be wise,

I asked for power that I might have peoples praise;I was given weakness that i might feel the need for God

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.I was Given life that i might enjoy all things.

I got nothing that I asked for But everything that I hoped for.
almost despite myself my unspoken prayer was answered. I am among all people most richly blessed.

author unknown to me I think it is a prayer of a soldier
