As Human we were give several things;
First of all FREEWILL, the freedom to make a choice;
next we were given a world to share with other species; creatures of land and sea, and living plants.
We were given dominion over the animal and living creature of this world;
all this that we may live in harmony with each other and all the creature that inhabit this world.
Unfortunately we have not exercised our freewill properly, and you can clearly see we do not co-inhabit the planet with other humans, living creatures, plants, or natural resources as was planned.
Read Genesis again and this time you will see the line is " I'll create man in "our" image; the question then is who is "our?"

there is some way that man can reflect the image of God back and glorfy God in a way nothing else in creation can
you need to step back and look at the whole picture
God made the universe declaring it good 7x and using impersonal language like 'let there be"
When it comes to man, the language is much more personall..."let us make" and "in our image"
After the creation of one couple the universe becomes VERY GOOD in the eyes of God
this is some thign definately to comtemplate as it is a theme that hits the Bible at both ends.
Man is made form the lowest stuff in creation, the dust. From his wounded side his wife is made. Just as there is one marriage in the garden there is one marriage in heaven which is between Christ and the Bride of Chrsit, the redeemed also made from Crhrsts wounded side..
and man is lifted... literally.. from dust... to glory

RIGHTEOUSNESS is the image of God given to mankind. And that seems to be thing missing in many among us at the moment. RIGHT WORD, RIGHT THINKING, RIGHT ACTION AND THE RIGHT TO HAPPINESS. If you think you have all those rights for yourself and you give others the chance to deserve the rights each one have then, maybe you would have realized that it is the gift of God in His own image.

If we were then what the heck happened to our perfection? If god has free will then he has the ability to turn to sin, evil, etc. Does God have free will? If so he can become evil at any moment right? So what were we given from God's image? Maybe he gave us all of his sins, evil tendancies, and imperfections so that he is omitted of all of them.

our existence as a soul guarantees a source of infinite portrayal of the laws governing all of life as an experience, so time may be the answer here, we were all given the time to create our experience without limitation.

We have been given the gift of creation, and all the powers that god has. Just on a smaller scale.
