Your Jesus instructed you to "give to all who ask of you." So I am again asking you to send me ALL of your money.

Come on all ye faithfull, put up or shut up. Certainly there must be among you someone with the chutzpah (or backbone) and extra bucks to demonstrate and set an example for all--believers and non-believers--that you do indeed try to be Christ-like in all of your deeds to the best of your power and pocketbook.
Come on follower of Christ! THis is your chance to prove it !

Wouldn't Jesus say that it's people like J-P Satre and Vladimir Putin who need him the most?

And wouldn't he attack the Evangelicals for being so judgemental of everyone around them? Has Matthew 7 been added to the Apocrypha or what?

Why is the usual stereotype of liberals as unreligious so common in America? Every democratic politician in Congress is a Christian, so why are we held in the 'ungodly' position? Is it because allow others NOT to be Christian is un-Christian? Isn't makeing the judgement that all liberals are un-Christian a little un-Christian in itself?

The kids in our church organized a car wash to raise money for summer camp. I went out there yesterday to have my car washed and found several of the young ladies were in bikinis and the boys were shirtless. They had loud hip hop music playing and the girl who toweled my car off was acting like some kind of dancer.

Needless to say I was shocked! How could your youth pastor allow such a immodest display? The youth pastor (single man in his 20's) seemed to be enjoying himself and was horsing around and having water fights with the kids.

I think this kind of car wash makes a mockery of God and our church. Do I have your support? If I do, I will take the answers to the Pastor and get this youth pastor right with God.

I know a woman who went to confession in the catholic church and told the priest during confession that she had 4 boyfriends. While she was saying the rosary the priest called her a prostitute in front of the whole congregation. Ashamed she did not do anything. what should she have done?

If you do not know these were experiments that showed electricity when combined with gasses can produce molecules that are precursors to life. ( or as fundies like to say, they appeared out of randomness) I was just wondering how long it will take for these results to reach mainstream Christianity. It's been 53 years already.

Oh you will? Will see.

Which is a better statement to a child?

This is what a christian is more likely to say

A. If you do bad things, you will be sent to hell when you die but you can just repent and say you're sorry and still go to heaven because Jesus died for your sins

This is what an atheist is more likely to say

B. if you do bad things, I know you're better then that because you're a good person but you will have to suffer the consequences for your own actions

Does anyone know of a church in Mebane or Burlington North Carolina that is Baptist and fairly small. I want a church who's service doesn't go according to a program handed out at the front door. I would also prefer if they had a nursury, but if not they can't mind if my 9 month old daughter is with me during service.

well, im an athiest, but what i dont understand is why the church are attacing this book so ferociously. yes, the author claims its true, personaklly im mixed, but why so savage on getting it banned?

okay for a start, for the book to work, jesus needs to have existed, but as a mortal man, not gods son.... this does seem more passable than an supreme being (if one even exists)

and for those who have actually read / seen it, darrne brown is not trying to crush christianity. hes just pointing out the truth

whis is fact does work. its been known that the bible has been severly edited over the years by the catholic church (even if they deny it...)

what im saying is, why deny your past church? and why so defensive? it just seems odd....

As you may know human races are in 3rd dimension... 4th dimension is the next step up
Jesus was at least a 5th dimension being, and there are many on earth now

The Bible says "No man knows the hour when the son of man will appear." MATTHEW 24:36

God put the first couple in a beautiful 'green garden' and asked Adam to "cultivate the land". Genisis 2:15

These biblical accounts tell me that the Earth is a gift to man and our labor in the Earth is our gift to God.

The ultra right sect who say, 'pollution is fine because Christ will come back before it is too late,' are in contradiction to the scripture and at odds with common sence.

Big business that pollute and automobile manufactures that won't modify fuel types for the betterment of human health are in business for the all mighty dollar. (pharmaceutical companies can pocket a little 'green' as well if people get sick off of the fumes)

(I Timothy 6:10) 'The love of money is at the root of all sorts of evil'

Although the Quran include many verses that encourage Muslims to love and obey their parents, I found out that this is only valid in case their parents were MUSLIMS ONLY. I found a verse [tawba 9:23] that orders Muslims not to give any protection for their fathers or brothers in case they love infidelity above Faith. It also threatens any Muslim who try to protect his infidel father by being accounted as infidel himself.

Do you see this verse FAIR or human? I think that giving protection for my father and my brothers should be a part of being a human. Even if they don't believe in what I believe in I still should give them respect and protect them. Does anyone agree with me?
