Karma is. Most of the religions created in the last few centuries were truly trying to tell the law of karma. Their teachings got screwed up along the way by those holding on to the past.

It doesn't always seem He is fair, but He is fair. Everything exists in a balance that He holds and He understands better than we ever could. We think something is unfair when we don't understand why it happened or how it could possibly be "fair". Man is not fair. Man's love knows limits and has boundries. If it was limitless, no man would ever molest a child (not fair) or have the need for war (not fair). These are man's doings, not God. But, God has the ability to take something that is not beautiful or not fair, and make something very purposeful from it.
If God's fairness was based on our understanding, than my childhood puppy would have never died. He'd be 30ish now. That wouldn't be too good for him, would it?

That depends on how you think of "fair." God's nature is definitely just. For example, Romans 2:11 says that he does not show favoritism. God is also merciful- is showing mercy fair? It's up for debate. Is it fair that even though every single person deserves to go to hell those who trust in Jesus are exempt? It's a matter or paying a debt. If Jesus payed my debt, then I'm covered, but is it fair for someone to pay for someone else?

I know I asked more questions than I answered. Sorry about that. I just want to point out that we need a better grip on what's fair and what isn't before we decide who's fair and who isn't.

Yes God is fair , we as children of God may not understand His reasoning but its not for us to know the why and how of everything. If we live by faith all will be well. We aren't promised peace and happiness all the time, if everything here was perfect and wonderful all the time then there would have been no reason for Jesus to have died for our sins. Our promise is that if we trust in God and have faith that Jesus is the son of God that one day all the troubles and sorrows in this life will be no more when we get to heaven. There we will have everlasting peace and joy and will praise Him forever.

Well, sometimes. Everything happens for a reason.. The question is not is God fair. The question is, can God microwave a burrito so hot that even HE can't eat it? :D Totally kidding that was stupid but great.. The REAL question here is, is God fair? Well, I don't know. This was a complete waste of time, what a stupid answer. WONDERFUL, my work here is done. As Tigger would say, TTFN, Tatas For Now! :D ahhahahaha..

If there is a God, then that God must be fair. Otherwise, He's not God.

Nope,

People say he favors the rich because they have better lives on earth

but some people believe that poor people are the ones that go to heaven
Which means in that case, he favors the poor

Doesn't matter which way you look at it, he is not fair

Most believe that he isn't. I on the other hand do believe he is. The punishments or things he asks us to do because it's the right thing don't always seem fair. But in the end, they always are and always will be.
