You can't persuade a real Muslim, Islam is much more spiritually mature and profound than Christianity. They'd never go for it, just like a real Christian would never convert to Judaism.
You can, however, if the person has never been educated in Islam or any religion, and is Muslim only by birth and nothing more.

In my experience, I would have to say the following
1. Know a great deal about Islam so you can converse with them.
2. Know a great deal about Catholic history, especially that where Catholicism and Islam run into each other. Know all the major theological developments of the first 8 centuries inside and out. You have to be able to show how Catholicism never changed its beliefs.
3. Expect a long a slow process.
4. Don't approach from a western perspective, use an eastern perspective.
5. Catholicism is spiritually more mature than Islam. It is also spiritually more healthy and this is attractive to Muslims IF IT IS SHOWN. Particularly use the writings of the Desert Fathers and the mystics of the Middle East.
6. Marian devotion is greatest bridge and topic starter for a great many Muslims. Use her to develop a common understanding and from there to develop a true understanding of Christ as God.
7. If you are not practicing Catholicism, Muslims are not going to respect you.
8. Allah is a god to submit to. YHWH is a God to love and who loves back. Love is a greater submission because it is a total self-giving. Understand this, practice this and it will be attractive.
9. Make sure you are praying.
10. Read and know the stories of Muslim converts to Catholicism. These will help you understand how to approach.
11. Don't hard sell Catholicism. Simply expose the Muslim to true Christian beliefs, worship, and social activities. Join with Muslims in fighting against social ills such as abortion. Correct historical and theological misconceptions about Catholicism. Don't engage in showing why Islam is false unless this line of investigation is brought up by the Muslim.

I don't think there is a way. Because, in Islam there are descriptions of Christianity & Judaism. There are mentions how right is Islam. Islam is the best religion with most perfect & most
complete guidelines. So, a true Muslim will never turn into any religion.
Yes, it is possible that a Muslim may convert into other religion, if s/he was just a Muslim by name, not by faith.
