Im not entirely religious, but do believe in god and have many questions on the bible.

Is it true when the hole garden of eden ordeal occured that god condemed woman to an eternity of obsessing over their husbands? Obsessing over them more than their or children?

I was told by a Jewish scholar that the correct phrase is that Jews are the chosen people to spread the word of God. Is this the truth or is the conventional wisdom that Jews are God's favorites the truth. Is there an actual scholar out there who can truthfully and accurately respond to my question?

I've heard Christians talk about the father (on occassion) and the son (nonstop), but I never hear anything about the Holy Spirit. What is it and are all parts of the trinity equal? (I'm Jewish, so please don't assume that I've studied the New Testament.)

Christians (like myself) know that this body we have is but a shell we live in on this world (planet) which is not our home world. We go to our home in Heaven. This would mean we are aliens to earth, would it not? What's your worldly view on this thought provoking question?

MY KIDS THINK THAT I'M OLD FASHIONED. THEY SAY ALL THERE FRIENDS ARE GOING TO THE MOVIES WITH THEIR BOYFRIENDS AND GIRLFRIENDS WITHOUT A CHAPERONE. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE TO BE CHAPERONED WHEN GOING OUT ON DATES.

WHAT AGE DO YOU FEEL IS A GOOD CUT OFF AGE TO ALLOW THEM TO:
1ST- DATE?
2ND- GO OUT UN-CHAPERONED?
3RD- GET SERIOUS AND CONSIDER THEMSELVES AS AN ITEM?

I KNOW THAT KIDS HAVE CRUSHES AND SO FORTH. I JUST DON'T WANT THEM TO GROW UP TOO FAST!
I PERSONALLY THINK 17YR OLD IS A PERFECT AGE. THAT'S THE WAY I DID MY OLDEST CHILD. I'M NOT TRYIN TO BE HIP. I'M TRYIN NO TO BE A GRANDMA TOO SOON!

MAYBE I AM OLD FASHIONED! KIDS HAVE TOO MUCH FREEDOM THESE DAYS. THAT'S WHY TEEN PREGNANCY, AIDS, AND DRUG ABUSE IS HIGH ON THE RECTOR SCALE FOR TEENS, STATISTICALLY SPEAKING.

In the Christian religion why don't people get judged on there good works, there morals, there heart? I mean no one is perfect everyone has they're bad bits but I would say mostly good people. Why are we all sinners as soon as we're born why are we all aparently immoral and not good enough for God? Why did God create beings that aren't good enough for him? Why did He put the tree of knowledge in the gared of Eden if he didn't want Adam and Eve to eat from it? Do we get judge if there is a judgment day what do we get judged by do we only get judged by what we believe? I don't get it.

They or even one of them could come back for any reason. If it were possible, would they be considered an alien from another world? Heaven might be considered another world.

Ok Folks. its clear to me that everyone is saying 2 things. yes it is the devils work, or no it's not because the devil is a christian created creature. so if witch's dont worship satan, them WHY is he in most of the witchcraft book? if the witch's say we dont even think there is a devil,because its a christian thing,then why is he in a witch's/wiccans books? like Raymond Bucklands "book of withcraft",where he says a witch said, that the devil had sex with her and his penis was big and cold. then on other pages it shows

Given that Christianality is a) anti-science and many of their views of the world has been disproven by science, b) can't even agree among themselves (just look at how many sects within the "Christian" religion, i.e., catholic, lutherans, evangelical, ect...), and c) treat the bible as the words of God yet have so many versions out there, which sometimes contradicting with each other....
