The bible was translated mostly from Greek and Hindu tablets, but people are not perfect so they could have interpreted them wrong! It has not been proved that they haven't interpreted them wrong, so if you really want the truth you are going to do the first hand research your self!

No...there are many prophesies which simply have not been fulfilled yet. Also, a prophesy of destruction can be averted...see the book of Jonah.
