If you believe in God and so did your parents or other adults, this does not count. My point is that most Christians were TOLD that god exists from the very beginning of their childhood.

How many of you "found God" as an adult?

Why do we choose to attack others sin?
Why ban gay marriage, or ban abortion, when even pro-lifers are sinful?

Is this quote true?

"If we are to hate anything, let it be ourselves. If we must crusade against the sinful humanity, let only the just men judge others. But there are of course, men alive today that are sinless. We are all sinful, so why not hate our own sin? It does far more to say I am sinful than to say you are sinful." -Ryan Mease

one of the most familiar verses in the New Testament, in which Jesus tells the group who brought her, "Let the one who is without sin among you be the first to cast a stone at her," John 8:7.
This story, however, is not found in any of the oldest manuscripts of John's Gospel. Until the fourth century when the Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity,

When scribes translated the Greek manuscripts into Latin, for example, they embellished on a passage explaining the Trinity, which is the Christian belief that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The oldest versions of the epistle of 1 John, read: "There are three that bear witness: the Spirit, the water and the blood and these three are one."

Can you at least critically answer these questions? Without saying something like "Nope God said it, never question God". Or how about "No errors every occur during translations."
Accept the reality people. The bible as we know it today is FLAWED.

I can't believe in Flu Vaccinations, because then I'd admit that viruses mutate and evolve.

I can't believe in Earthquakes, because they prove plate-tectonics, which shows small evidence of major motion spanning millions and millions of years.

I can't believe in Dinosaurs, because the fossil record using radiometric dating, goes back further than the bible says existed. It also shows evidence of species mutating and then adapting. Surviving to form completely different species : Here is an example of one species becoming another today!!! :

I can't believe in Gravity, because it is just a theory and if Evolution is just a theory, then Gravity is just a theory. And so is the earth being round. And so is life on other planets. It's all theory!

Is 2+2=4 a theory?

1st, they don't understand evolution on a DNA level so they insist that "macro evolution" doesn't happen. Here is some evidence :

http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20060603/sc_space/electricfishonvergeofevolutionarysplit

Also, microevolution and macroevolution both refer fundamentally to the same thing, changes in gene frequencies, and the scientific controversy is only about how those changes predominantly occur. Either way macroevolution uses the same mechanisms of change as those already observed in microevolution.

Radiometric dating has proven to be the most accurate in dating fossils and rocks. Creationists say that is is innaccurate because it frequently has error factors of a few million years! Which sounds like a lot, but when you talk about 380 million year periods then it doesn't. Note that even with the error factor, Radioisotopes still prove the earth billions of years older than Creationist claim.

Okay a lot of people say jesus was black okay. but I think that my theory is that black pirates or some kind of africans killed jesus.

alright my friend at school told me this and he is indian so dont say i am racist okay.

now he is what he said:
caine cursed by god, skin turned black
descendents are poor and cannibals
Then the curse that god put on caine comes back to god (jesus) and thats how jesus dies.

bible is ironic i guess you know
again ia m not being racist

I am a Christain, but, my teacher made this comment in class and it kind of troubled me.

He said:

If the Bible is true we know that Jesus is God and God's son. So the Bible said Jesus worshiped God. So if Jesus is God, does He worship Himself?

Please help me bc/ I'm so confused!

what i understand about evolution is that it takes millions and millions of years for an organism to evolve, so if man came from a monkey when exactly did he change? why is there less than 10,000 years of recorded human history? humans knew how to write intricate texts 2,000 - 4,000, and 6,000 years ago .. but not 12,000..? if modern mankind has been modern mankind for more than 10,000 years wouldnt there be like 777 trillion people on earth today ? thanks
