We all know the plot is fiction---I mean the story itself is fiction but a lot of it seemed to really sound truthful. Maybe they can't prove it but it sure sounded real. ANybody else have this feeling?

To believe the Bible one has to completely suspend disbelief, rationalize the irrational, and base it all upon what a few, quite ignorant men wrote thousands of years ago. Not saying everything about Darwinism/evolution is correct (though I personally find it the most satisfying, logical explanation) but at least it makes sense.

Do you truly believe that being religious makes one less sinful?
True it makes us a better person (sometimes) and Christians would say that through Christ our sins are forgiven...but are we really leading better lives than anyone else? or are there sins we commit everyday that, to God, make us look as sinful as Bin Lade, GWB, or even Hitler? Are we ll equally sinful in God's eyes, or ar some people the "good ones"?

If this is really true, Mormons have to reconsider calling themselves Christians. WE WANT THE TRUTH AND NOT TO CRITISIZE THEM. This is a quotation from page 670 of a book called Mormon doctrine written by a mormon:

Joseph Smith:
