And if it is a sin, would my sins fall short in the eyes of god compare to a serial killer.

MURDERER!!!

Just kidding. Sin is perception, so be the judge of your own actions. There is no Evil, and no good, either, as they are naught but perceptions.

The Commandment is actually Thou shalt not MURDER...

Because of sin all of nature is upset.

Before sin the animal kingdom did not attack and kill and eat one another and neither did humans.

I asked myself this same question and here is an answer I found.

If you watch bees without bothering them, they pretty much leave you alone.

But if you push a stick into their home and start messing it up they will attack you to protect there home.

The same applies in the other direction; If bees or flies or ants or rodents come into your home

(and you can't reason with them as with humans.. well humans can be unreasonable too, then you call 911)

but then you can DEFEND your home (or body, if they are biting/stinging you).

So I'd say you are not sinning to kill pests that are bothering you, but that you are sinning to just go out and recklessly destroy life.

Hope that helps!

To answer your question with all honesty, it is not a sin to kill a creature, such as rats, roaches, ants, and spiders. They do not have a soul. What is a sin is to kill that which has a soul. Now, this is not license to go out and just start killing animals, this does not speak well of your character and common sense; but it has always been necessary to kill out those critters that carry rampant disesase, such as the ones you have mentioned.

I'm not here to judge you or your actions, but since you asked I'll try to respond directly to your question according to what I've learned, without sounding too preachy. Deal?? Okay, here goes:

Strictly speaking, when one VOWS TO OBEY and follow THE LAW, we are commanded to "Kill neither men, nor beasts, nor yet the food that goes into your mouth..." according to the sevenfold teaching of Jesus.

ALL LIVING BEINGS, every beast of the earth, and every fowl of the air, and everything that creeps upon the earth, and every plant, herb, and tree wherein there is a BREATH OF LIFE is all part and parcel of The Brotherhood and we are all CHILDREN OF GOD, our Heavenly Father.

And it is WRONG TO KILL ANY of them in the eyes of God, as it is written...

Peace be with you!

I dont know. If you are religious then you might want to go to a priest or some one religous that you trust. But everything is gods creatures and whatnot. I am not especially religous, i just kind of go along with the flow but i think that if you have serious qualms about this you should talk to a priest or something.

Kill/Murder

I believe that the commandment "Thou shalt not kill." (Ex.20:13 below) can also be stated, as Jesus said, "Thou shalt do no murder." (Matt.19:18 below).

Ex.20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Matt.19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

i think God meant anything that has a soul when he said that. animals don't have souls, but that doesn't mean that we should go around killing things. the Bible says that animals were meant to be eaten. i can't find the verse rite now but itz probably in Genesis.

God put man above all animals. So we can kill and eat them, its not a sin...we rule over all.
