Churches only care about enforcing their rules. They don't particularly care about the effect these rules have on humanity. They only care about winning.

I was pregnant as a teen, and the Church did not abandon me at all.
In fact, they gave me and my family a great deal of help -- and they also were a big help in locating a good family to adopt my baby.
Jeez, I can't stand it when people post questions that are based on such false info and false accusations -- without even bothering to do any research or investigating first. No offense.

Do you know the term "leading question?" It means something phrased as a question that essentially forces the answerer to give a certain response. This is a leading question.
The answer to give: anybody who does that is a bastard (bastards if a group of them do)
But wait, there's more. I have never heard of a church that had that as a pollicy, and know of many that look out for single Moms. But then, the question was phrased in such a way that I can't answer with that...

i think the churches depend too much on the welfare system to support the girl and baby. They figure once the girl has the child she can go get welfare and support her and her child. I would think if I were in that situation I would go after the father of the child to support the girl and the child because it takes two to tango. He should have to play an active part in the babies life and be a real man.

The correct way to take care of your baby is with a husband. If you are so dysfunctional that you don't have a husband and father for your baby, that is your fault, not the churches'. These things are YOUR responsibility.
Want real help? Then ask people from the church to find you a nice, decent, hardworking young man to love you and your baby.

Coz Hillbillie. Your inbred. You knocked your sister up, so it is time you take responsibilty.
Not only your sister, but your cousins also. That pretty much covers the South.
