He didn't come from monkeys; the two species evolved from a common ancestor. And it's believed that the separation began around 13 million years ago.
And there is less than 10,000 years of "recorded history" (even though some of the cave paintings are up to 40,000 years old) because man had not evolved far enough to develop writing until then. And, yes, it's possible that once writing developed, it proceeded rather quickly.
If you haven't noticed, humans have this tendency to have these things called wars, which tend to take off large numbers of people at a time, and we also up until the last century or so were very susceptible to disease, such that the average life expectancy was in the 40s or 50s for much of human history, and also had this tendency to have a lot of kids not make it to their first birthday. Tends to keep the population down a bit.

I am a Christian; I believe in the Bible and I believe Jesus is the Son of God.
But nothing in the Bible prevents me from believing in evolution or the process of the Big Bang. The Bible was never meant to be a science textbook or explain science things. The Bible is meant to tell us who controls the universe and who caused the beginning of creation and who guides everything in the universe.
There are two kinds of evolution: gradual and punctuated. Gradual changes occur over millions of years where species eventually change. Punctuated occurs when a major change (disease, famine, climate change, ice age, etc.) happens. During these times of extreme stress, only the strongest and most fit of the species survive. This causes a sudden change in the population.
As it has already been written, mankind did not come from a monkey. The theory of evolution claims that man and monkeys are "brothers" and not that monkeys are our "fathers." God may have chosen to make Man in this fashion, or He may have created Man from scratch spontaneously. Either way, that would explain the sudden brainpower and language ability of man.
There would not necessarily be trillions of people on earth. Primative man did not have hospitals or medicines to keep him alive, so people often died off early.
What do people expect?
We are the top 1% of educated people on the planet TODAY. Only in the last 100 years have we begun to understand the process of evolution. Why do we expect the Bible to be a science textbook that explains things the way WE want to understand it?
What do people expect?
God was supposed to write "In the beginning, I created 1E98987 quarks from emptiness. Then I spontaneously created photons that were emitted from 987 I created a protoplasm out of amino acids that I created using lightening and redirecting the quarks. After that..." IF that was the way He did it (which, from what we can see of the earth, He did), then do people think that he would actually write something like that that only 0.00001% of all people who ever lived would understand?

This has been answered SO MANY times!
1. We did not evolve from monkeys. We had a common ancestor.
2. Humans learned to write at some point. They couldn't do it when they first showed signs of being human.
3. I don't understand why you think the population would be greater if "modern" people lived 10,000 years ago, as opposed to primitive people.

first of all it was a common ancestor and not a monkey. second look how long it took to go from writing to splitting the atom. and third mankind would have definitely developed much faster if the superstitious religious idiots would not have been burning people at the stake for making discoveries that contradicted the bible.

humans and apes had a common ancester millions of years ago according to evolutionary theory. we only recently learned how to communicate through writing. populations didn't begin to take off until our ancestors became farmers primarily instead of hunters. also, we didn't have very good healthcare until the last half of the 20th century. humans only recently began to understand science, which explains why our population didn't grow very fast until the last 150 years.

I don't understand why you find it hard to believe that complex language and writing only came about fairly late in our actual history? I could ask the same thing about skyscrapers, or cars, or any modern invention. Hell, computers have only been around for the last fifty years or so, but no one's asking why ancient sumerians didn't have them. They simply weren't invented yet.

also, why all of a sudden did we stop evolving?
do people really think that we are the end of all?
I believe that God created man, besides who is proud to say that he evolved from monkey?
Even if I would believe that, I would not be proud of the
"fact"
