Okay a lot of people say jesus was black okay. but I think that my theory is that black pirates or some kind of africans killed jesus.

alright my friend at school told me this and he is indian so dont say i am racist okay.

now he is what he said:
caine cursed by god, skin turned black
descendents are poor and cannibals
Then the curse that god put on caine comes back to god (jesus) and thats how jesus dies.

bible is ironic i guess you know
again ia m not being racist

umm beekis, the word cannibals actually comes from caine okay. It is because his descendents ate each other because not enough food was in the african climate

about black pirates umm okay read your history books and stuff

There were people who were priates in africa. They didn't use boats but they were quick on their feet. that is also a reason why black people are sometimes more athletic

No. First off, Jesus wasn't black. Racially speaking, he was probably of Middle Eastern origin since the Jews and Arabic Muslims descend from the same racial source (go back to your story of Isaac and Ishmael... both people stem from sons of Abraham).

Second, the Bible is very clear about who killed Jesus. Jewish religious leaders and Romans share the blame for his execution with the Romans actually carrying out the deed... and while Romans were very fond of Africans, they themselves were of Caucasian origin.

So, no black people killing Jesus. They had absolutely nothing to do with the incident.

Oh, and for the record, the etymology and origins of the word "cannibal" have nothing whatsoever to do with Cain or the Bible. The official etymology of the word is as follows (and I checked three different dictionaries; all agree with what follows):

"cannibal-- 1553, from Sp. canibal "a savage, cannibal," from Caniba, Christopher Columbus' rendition of the Caribs' name for themselves, Galibi "brave men." The natives were believed to be anthropophagites. Columbus, seeking evidence that he was in Asia, thought the name meant the natives were subjects of the Great Khan. Shakespeare's Caliban (in "The Tempest") is a version of this word, with -n- and -l- interchanged, found in Hakluyt's "Voyages" (1599). Cannibalize of machinery, etc., first recorded 1943, reflecting war-time shortages."

Ok, so what's the deal. In terms of religion the reason this question has never been answered by the divine spirit, is because he's too busy looking for all your BRAINS!!!! Why is it that black people have to take the blunt of everything. There are theories about Mary Magdelene being a red head; and as far as I'm concerned she was about as Middle Eastern as you can get. Speaking as somone who is of purely European Descent, ie: Irish, and English, I would say it's possible. lol Why does that even matter. To be completely frank, if I may, the question the person posted is neither racist or a waster of time. I am affraid though that I'm a bit confused on the part about caine being cursed, and so he turned black? What is that? Have you no common sense? Gee, I wonder if my pasty skin would survive in the Arabian Desert? Hum.... Know one killed Jesus. As he said, there are no Jews, Nor Gentiles, Nor Egyptians, Nor Israelittes. We are children of God, or of the world which ever you so choose to claim. The Jewish people, are a special group of intellectual huming beings, as are the Africans, Europeans, Indians, and Pacific Islanders, Orientals, and the Scandanavian and Indian(Native)? Why should it matter, If I am Catholic and fall in love with a Muslim, or Shall I be Methodist and fall in love with a Jewish human?
What it will take for this world to see us all as equal but different, learning to appreciate and explore those differences is what Jesus' wanted, not to argue whether a group of Africans murdered him. He was the salvation of this earth, to those who believe it was only time that took his life. The Romans were the ones who crucified him, but HE gave his life in accordance to his father's wish and it was always in God's plan for him to do so.

Just because someone is Indian and has brown skin doesn't mean they aren't racists or that going along with what they say doesn't make you a racist.

I'm not saying you're a racist, but you reasoning above doesn't absolve you.

I don't think black people killed Jesus. The Romans killed Jesus because he was a threat to their power. Read your Bible.

Seriously, you should get a Bible, Koran, Torah, Rig Veda and read it and make your own decisions about what it says. Don't take anyone else's word for it. The pursuit of religion is PERSONAL. If you need guidance, go to a few religious people you trust, try a few different churches/mosques/synagogues/temples.

Religion should be about love and not about finding a scapegoat for a death that occured over 2000 years ago.

Jesus was born of a Jewish mother and that makes him of the Semitic peoples who were not black.

Jesus has been depicted in some paintings with the features of other races, but they were not actual depictions of Jesus as there are no true pictures of him.

As for your friend, he is very wrong about what he said in his statements. They are completely off base and not in accordance with the Bible.

Additional: I am sorry that there are so many ignorant know-it-all people writing nasty comments. That happens a lot in Answers, but there are some people who do try to help.

You will hear a lot of things in life that may not sound quite right and for this, research is very important. In this case, the first place to go is the Bible and see what it really says. You will find, for instance, no mention of Jesus going to Africa.

Good luck and I hope people will be kinder to everyone on Answers. Just because they think they know something, does not mean other people do.

Where do you get this stuff!!! Read the Bible please. Jesus is a Jew. He is a Beduin a wandering Aramian. The Jewish creed begins with "A wondering Aramian was my father..." The record of His death is contained in several sources, the most reliable and accessable is the Bible. Jesus was crucified by the Romans by order of Pontius Pilate the governor. No where does it record anything about African pirates not even in the records sent to Ceaser in Rome.
God put a mark on Cain.Read Genesis 4:15 and the same mark He put on those He wanted preserved Read Ezekiel 9:4-6. In Genesis God preserved Cain with the mark he put on him so noone would slay him.
The issue of Jesus is very key to the gospel message. He died because He vuluntieered to take the place of sinners and pay the price for sin for which God declared earlier "The soul that sins shall die" No one is qualified to be a pure sacrificial lamb because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. All without exception. When He was about to be born the angel that announced His birth said His name shall be Jesus because He will save the people from their sins. In another gospel Matthew it says His name shall be called Emmanuel'God with Us"
You should put your friend right. To be black in most places around the word is to be dispised, especially in India with the cast system. After receiving the mark Cain was no longer dispised.Except he is implying that Cain was black and then received the mark and he turned white and his white descendants became poor and cannibals. That may fit the theory that Jesus is a white man with long straight hair. No He was in the flesh a Beduin Before you regogitate anything said to you as a student find out the facts first. In fact it was a black man that was asked to help Jesus carry his cross..Simon of Cyrenne. Jesus found help from a black man when he was wearry and tired from the beatings and abuse He received !!!
You are racist. The fact that you have an Indian friend not withstanding.

Did you really believe your friend? What the hell! That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard! When Cain was cursed, it does not mention his skin was turned black. I advise that you go to Bible study in your local church so you can see what the Bible really says. Obviously your friend is a racist and if he is a brown or dark skinned Indian he is saying that he is cursed too. That makes no sense. I don't believe you have an Indian friend, I believe you are writing these things yourself and to avoid being reported for abuse, you're trying to hide behind my Indian friend says. I read all of your questions that you posted and you never mention this Indian friend's name. I feel that you are racist because if you weren't you would not listened to so much derogatory things about black people. Aprilc, I 'm with you! His cover is blown! If you are under age, you need new direction than this so called Indian friend if he really exists! You keep saying that you are not a racist right? Then why did you give such a racist response to the question provided in the link below?

Caine bore a "mark" after being cursed. That doesn't necessarily mean that he became black. I think your friend may be a little racist, but he's entitled to an opinion.

Jesus was sentenced to death by a multitude of people of different ethnicities, not just a bunch of roaming Africans.
I suggest reading the Bible yourself before taking another's word on it.

First off
Research your stuff man... That idea is just silly...
Ask ur freind if Vishnu created candybars & see what he says..

Second - Jesus was not Killed by Jews - he was murdered by Romans

Third - The whole cast from heaven & turning black thing is just a racist interpretaion of the quoted bible text.

Fourth - Jesus was from Jeruselum - this means he did have some color but was not likely black

What I learned in school was that black people aren't really black. They are people who's skin contains larger amounts of melanin - skin pigment. When you tan, your skin gets darker because you have this melanin too. So theoretically black people are white with extra melanin. The black pirates you are referring too were actually white, too clear up any confusion, they had been disguising themselves for years as black people in an attempt to throw off the locals they were stealing from. I think you might find this in that bible you're talking about. That whole cannibal thing has nothing to do with black or white people, it's just an urban legend. Cannibals don't exist, only in the movies. Since the invention of pizza anyway.

But if you read in Revelations it will mention no color of Jesus. All that is stated that his skin was the color of bronze and hair of wool. Who knows what color he was. He may be a mixture of any race thinkable. I am not to sure where you got the black pirates as a personal theory. Jesus was hung on the cross and reserrected 7 days later. Maybe you should try a church for all the asnwers. Or try reading the source.......
