I was wondering what bothers people. Something that really pisses me off is hearing about guys that play with girls' minds and emotions "just for the heck of it." Why waste that person's time? Do something more constructive with your time!

Besides greed, cheating, nationalism, conformity, corruption, untrustworthiness, and ignorance? Seriously, you don't see traditional values in Americans anymore. Did they ever exist? High divorce rates, a general lack of knowledge of the world outside our borders, increasing replacement of family time for work, corporate and government corruption, and increasing cheating in personal relationships today seem to go against any real "values" we ever had, if any.

First it was 4 million, then it was 1.1 million. Now it's 6 million, and some Jewish historians are suggesting that it was 9 million.

Given the circumstance that everyone in america uses the N word so freely, do you think that just cause he is a public figure his show should be taken off. I honestly dont think they should and i honestly dont think the N word should be a bad word either, i know i dont get offended when they call me a Wet Back or Beaner etc. i think ppl need to lighten up and stop crying about stupid stuff like that and worry about real news like my brother at war right now. Tell me what you think.... "Bring Dog Back"

I get a lot of crap chainmail stuff. I got one from my mother-in-law about strangers approaching you in parking lots and asking what kind of perfume you wear and would you like to smell these cheap knock-offs. It's actually supposed to be ether and you pass out and they steal your purse or whatever or kidnap you. How much sniffing would you really have to do?

came home from school... some guy totally followed me walking back home...

I was talking on the phone as I walked. As he drove by, he continued to stare and follow me in his car. The guy turns the curb when I do, gets off his car, starts walking next to me, and then he says to me that he would like to get to know me?!!?!?! he mumbles something and hops back into his car and watched me come inside.

I WAS SO SCARRED! I hate coming home alone.

Bad thing is... he saw me coming inside, so now whoever the fck this guy is- knows where I live... and whether he's been watching me? I have no clue.

Sad to say he was black but not surprising... dont mean to offend anyone. This area is changing and that's obviously not a good sign. What's even funnier is that tommorow is a new moon... explains the craziness out there.. it's been a really weird day. I'm just glad to be safe & home =)

phew.

What should I do if I see this guy again... or if he does what he did today and i'm alone?

I am hispanic. My mother was born here, but her mother was born and Cuba as well as her father. MY father was born in the Domincan Republic. They taught me Spanish, and I understand it as long as you don't talk fast, and I can speak it OK... I was born and raised in the Midwest, and I feel more American than I do hispanic. I mean, I hardly even feel hispanic! I mean I want to be a country singer and I feel like a country boy...even though I'm not because it's not like I was raised in the country....Is this wrong for me to feel this way? I want to hear y'alls opinion so please answer 10 points are waiting for best answer, but please answer honestly...

Why is it everyday, there are more and more homework questions on here? When I was in school (1990's), we had computers and the internet but we also had TEXT BOOKS (which most of the time have the answers to the questions they are asking on here). Do todays kids not know how to read and research their own homework problems?!?! And people wonder why todays education system is in trouble.
Yahoo should forbid questions asking for someone to "help figure out" this answer because I'm too lazy to look it up myself.

Every time i turn on the TV to watch American programming I always have some disgusting non family friendly show or commercial in my face. Many people say just change the channel but what am i supposed to do when it only like 90% of all programming? And besides i don't think thats an excuse to have such lewd and violent behaviour on television anyway (IMO) especially since children like to watch it so much. Furthermore it's not only on television but its on billboards, buses, bumper stickers, the internet and almost all forms of media. Personally I find it disgusting that that advertises have to stoop so low and to use sex appeal in other to get something to sell. I always wonder why women complain about being exploited in the situations yet continue to pose for these kinds of advertisements. Anyway thats another story, so any got any ideas on American society/culture has become so repulsive? Why are conservative Americans allow this to continue?

I helped a dog get back to it's owner a few days ago. The dog was in the road and kept running out into traffic. People were swerving and slamming on their brakes to at least try to keep from hitting him, but NOBODY else stopped to help him.

I stopped and got him, called his owners, and made sure he got home. People were honking at me, rolling down their windows to scream at me, flipping me off, and cussing me for making traffic slow down. We're not talking a major traffic back-up here - it might have taken them 15 seconds longer to get through the area - there isn't even a signal light there to have to wait for.

Are we too busy now? Too heartless? Too self centered?

Do you personally feel that we have a responsibility to help others (including animals) when able, or do you feel that your only responsibility is to you and yours? I DO feel that it is our obligation to help others when the opportunity is given.

All answers welcome! Thanks!

I know that this is a weird question but hopefully someone out there can fill me in. I know of someone who recently made a major life decison by somehow "throwing sheepskins" and based on the way they landed or something like that, this person made their decision b/c the result was that the path this person was going down was "predicted" to be the wrong one. Has anyone ever heard of this and if so, can you please explain this to me? I just don't understand. Thanks!
