What are some temptations and pressures that teenagers are facing today besides drinking alcohol, smoking, and drugs?

Sex is a huge one but most don't think, consider or grasp the consequences of if you get pregnant!
Also the fact both can get STD's, some can be fatal and some will keep coming back.

I think two bigs ones are the pressure to fit it and the pressure to do well in school. There are so many cliques at high school nowadays that it's hard to figure out where you fit it. Also, school is really tough and with parents pressuring you to always do well it can become really stressful. I hope this helps.

The root cause of everything you mentioned is peer pressure, it is the biggest problem.
But other problems are: Poor eating habits, too much TV, cell phones, games, iPods. All are distracting to learning and becoming an educated, responsible adult.

The shows are immoral and violent that they kids are watching on TV and so is the video games they play.
If they can't get in with the right crowd they want to shoot everybody.
