I'm wearing socks (I tend to get rather cold, extremely easily, and I like warm feet, except sleeping in socks is horrid to wake up too).
My mum is wearing sandals (I have no idea why, she usually doesn't).
My dad is wearing socks & shoes (usual for him).
My brother is currently barefoot (but he just stepped out of the shower).
And my sister is wearing goulashes (for some reason beyond me).

Nobody in my household is wearing shoes but 3 of us are wearing socks.

Of course not, none of us, shoes come of when we come in. Not a cultural issue, just a relaxed environment home.
