She's 40 years old, and Yahoo is touting her like some icon. I was just curious. A lot of those feminist types don't get married, or they wait until they're middle aged women to start dating, and I was just wondering about her.

Question is only for people who actively use their middle name as their first. I am pondering doing this and was wondering what kind of things you went through.

1. How often do you use it?
2. What docments (Official and otherwise) do you use your middle name?
3. What documents (Official and otherwise) you still use your given first name on?
4. Bills? Credit Cards?
5. Any other personal opinions?

Let's try the "Brewster's Millions" question, since it has been a while since it was asked. If you had to spend five million dollars without giving it away (i.e. paying a supermodel a million dollars to spend the night with you), buying any possessions that you intend to keep, give away, or sell, and without investing any of it, how would you do it?

Okay so I heard about this movie. Something about if life would be better if certain people weren't here. My question is this. Who would you prefer to not be here? My personal opinion is for all people who hate everyone else too easily to be gone. One more thing. I am white and to be honest, it seems looking back at history, we are the worst people. Look at our past and present. We've been a little too mean on innocent people.

I know people work nights and the some supermarkets are open 24/7, but I mean general living like going about our day to day activities at any time of day. I personally hope not, but we didn't used to have tv in the mornings or through the night, and most shops used to shut on Sundays and a Wednesday afternoon where I live. It was accepted that you wouldn't go shopping on Sundays.

next year, i'm going to be in classes with older kids. i will hardly already know anyone in any of my classes because i'm taking APs. i think that by the time i'm introduced to these people, they'll already have their groups and clicks, and it'll be hard to pick a random person and just start talking. it's almost like moving to a new school, not knowing where to start.
normally, i'm not a nerd or a loser or anything. i have a group of friends and i'm fine talking to people. i'm not an outcast.
how can i be social and open up to these people when they've already formed bonds with eachother? i'm shy, but i know i have to step out of my comfort zone, and i'm ready.
thanks in advance.

I'm going to be moving into an appartment with 3 other asian guys (the fact they are asian has nothing to do with it, just info. in fact, i find asians to be my favorite race..other than my own). Anyways, i am a pretty shy guy and i find it really hard to open up to someone and im going to be living with a guy that is, apparently, very energetic, hyper etc. and it worries me that i wont be able to open up to him and the rest of my roommates fast enough. i dont want to be this kind of shy guy anymore. i want to be outgoing too! the thing is, i dont like doing stupid stufff because i always think about how i'd look if i do the act and it turns me off from be "crazy" or whatnot. Basically, how can i be more fun to be around etc.

thanks guys.

When I donated last week at the Salvation Army, several employees came over and started going through the boxes. A couple said something like "I want that!" and grabbed several items, taking them inside. Another employee saw me watching and said "it's one of the perks, we get first pick for free". Why do these employees think that stealing is okay. Especially from a charity? Is this common?

so im 17 but i live my life stressed out and lonely,im young, beautiful, healthy, yet i feel like i dont belong. see, im an immigrant and i dont yet have legal status in the country (the case is in immigration and i have to wait, wait and wait) i came here when i was 10. i graduated highschool #6 in class rank and cant go to the college of my choice(a shame not being able to go with my 4.0 GPA), yup! i have to go to a community college and PAY for it, it hurts to see my classmates go off to college w/ full scholarships, i cant get a job(no SSN) and my parents struggle to pay. i dont have alot of friends, only a supportive boyfriend that has issues of his own, his dad needs a heart transplant and hes gonna have to move to NY, i live in NJ (if he doesnt move he would have to come up with 1 million dollars for the operation!), hes my only distraction and now hes moving, i dont get along w/ my parents that well..is there anyone out there that can relate to me? give me advice??

we are letting the youth generation grow up with no respect (though not my kids) for anything, no empathy for others and definatly no respect for the elderly that won their freedom!!

we have made political correctness our new bible, which the youth of today are using against us, to attain dominance. people are frightend to approach groups of youths outside their homes for fear of reproach by the police or having their heads kicked in, or worse, as we have seen of late.

the trouble stems from parents, let me give you an example:
while in the corner shop the other day, a young lad was pretending to steal stuff from the shelves, which the owner saw as being a distraction for his friends to actually steal stuff, so he asked the youth to leave, the youth promptly told the owner to F' off, then started to kick the stands by the door, the owner grabbed the lad and pushed him out of the door. A few minutes later a woman came in screaming that he shouln't have touched her son!
