Why is it that some people lie and cant be honest about themselves. Do you thinks its because they feel they are not worthy of telling the truth, that if they do people will think bad of them and wont like them for who they are, or do you thinkl its just their nature to lie about everything. Give me your views.

Due to the ever growing cities and changes in our society, many cultures are slowly changing. Its unfortunate because, eventually there won't be much of it left to be passed on to the next generation. Our individual and unique cultures are part of who we are. I'm doing a research on ways on how to help this specific culture. And it would help me greatly if anyone can suggest/give some ideas related to this.

I laugh so hard while reading YA Q&A's all while smoking and my asthma kicks in (dont give me any crap about smoking its homopathic, treating like with like...read up on it!) and I am running out of Ventalin.
If I do die, can my husband make money off of my death via laughing at YA?

To know two languages properly, like you have lived in another country for 5 years or more and really gone into the nations culture deeply. You will find new perceptions, concepts of morality, justice, God etc... will come to you. Like math is a language it opens up our mind to more concept so therefore is it possible that language could be to blame for why some cultures are not as advanced as others? English is highly accurate and flexible but others like Italian are highly emotional. The English excel at scientific and business thought, Italians excel in art, culture music. Without language we cannot form concept and without concept we cannot form language. Yet all thinking is the grouping, catagorising and analysis of concept. So is language to blame? What do you think?

Why what someone does regardless bad or good is frown upon?
I live in a atmosphere of negativity. Thats why I stay to myself al the time. It's seems that people love misery and try they hardest to bring you down. I know the bible say to"love your neighbors" but, I hate mines because they bring out the worst in people. Aint nothing but,addicts and junkies here so, What it is they hating on? The fact that I'm about my business and careless about their fun because everywhere I move to its the same old s*** .

I'm tired of being discriminated against for being black, female, & @ the worst, DISABLED. I hate when so many doors are closed on opportunities that I wanted to have. I can't live a normal life. I want a job but no one wants to hire me, & I have a college degree. When I go looking for a job, the "employer" just laughs in my face & call me crazy. Why am I never good enough?

I certainly do.
One old man who lives across the street, i cant touch a hammer without him tracking me down and telling me that im doing something wrong...telling me i need to do it this way or that way. Everytime i go to fix something outside of the house i will be damned if he isnt there telling me how im doing it all wrong. Something as simple as cutting the grass for instance - im doing it wrong and he goes on to tell me how they did it better when he was young. If he sees a crew of roofers or something similar that someone has hired to work on their house he does the same thing to them.
Then another guy at the other end of the street. He just comes out and stands there watching me whenever im doing some sort of work around the outside of my house or yard. Just watching...........as if im a TV show. WTF?

Why do most people in society confuse shyness for pride?

Sample:

Shyness does not equal pride!

I've heard alot of the same things, through family, church etc.

I met a girl at the Catholic church, went out with huh a while, found out she spent alot of time in the confessional talking about time spent with boys...if you can catch my drift, I couldn't count all her lovers on all my toes and fingers if you can understand- it was disappointing.

Family know the kind of girl I am looking for, and noone they knows meets my criteria- so they don't botha trying to set me up on dates no more.

Where do you meet nice, pretty, girl with good morals these days. Should I go back to the old country, is that the requirement?

Well, I'm a 16 year old girl who is known for having the sweetest personality around, but to be quite honest i feel ugly as ****!. i have sorta pretty skin tone (light tanish) and my face looks okay i guess, but i hate my body and height. in 16 years, i've never been asked out, kissed, or anything to that extent. I must admit i think im FAT! i weigh 105 and im only 4'11''. i tried dieting and excercising and i continue doing such but it doesnt seem to be shedding any weight. its like i have a bulk of muscle everywhere, to the point that im so ugly and FAT looking. plus, its hard to find cute clothes that fit. i went into hollister today and all the girls were skinny, beautiful, and had the perfect body for the cutest clothes. i envy them. how do i get the body i want?! the confidence i seek?! the beauty i wish i possesseD?! anyways thank you all very much in advance for all your responses.
