The growing gap between the have and the havenots in the United States indicates that capitalism cannot survive over the long haul.
BTW - capitalism does not specify even distribution of wealth. I suppose this author may be concerned that homelessness is an indication of economic instability, but at this time there is not nearly enough homeless in the US to make that kind of an impact on our extremely large economy.
