Too tame, why not Public Hanging, before the National Lottery on Saturday Night, or for unsucessful suicide bombers whose explosives failed strap semtex round them and blow em up, make their mates think twice before copying them, what do you think.

Well, these guys think they will become martyrs and get seven virgins in heaven. I say, pop a cap on them and let them go. Find another and do the same. After a while there won't be any. I like that idea.

I understand your sentiment, but then on whose level would we be? Execution is required by society to avenge wrong in a controlled manner (not by the ancient blood feud). Our nation's principles are based on the Christian principle of love. We will execute, but we will do so mercifully. Merciful execution is thought by some to be an oxymoron. It isn't. In the larger analysis it is the only road to take.
