Is it just me or are people totally selfish thinking they have the right to own 1 or several mansions and millions of dollars worth of cars? When you see people everywhere that cant afford an operation or food or etc etc etc.....

I have a choice of what to do tonight...I can either help out at the old peoples home...playing draughts, watching heartbeat, making cups of tea, and generally just looking after the sweet old ladies and men or I can sit at home and pull my pubes out with a pair of tweezers. Do you think that a couple can be happy together when they are different types of people, with not alot in common, but their parents have arranged for them to be married and they have no choice or say in this marriage. he was in a car accident, i didnt really know him, he was more of a friend of a friend, he was a senior this year & died 1 week before he was suppost to be getting out of high school for good, its been affecting me real bad i feel so bad & all i can think of is is family & what it must have been like to pass away that way (it was real bad) & i cant stop looking at his myspace & reading all these plans he had for after high school...Ive started to realize how fragile life is & how you really cant bank on being here tomorrow & im getting really depressed about that as well, i dont know what im trying to say, has anyone ever felt like that after someone passed away?

I tend to use what some people call "big words" in normal conversation. I don't see it that way; I just have a good vocabulary because I am a serious bookworm. And when I was a child I loved to read the dictionary and find new words to use. Now it is just natural because I know what they mean, and some synonyms emphasize the point better than others. But some people (and especially one person in particular) get annoyed or offended with me and think that I am trying to insult them. It's because when they ask me what a word I used means, sometimes I think they are joking and will ask them if they are serious. Now when I talk to people I sometimes make it a point to use smaller words just to make sure they understand me. Does anyone else do this? Not just with conversation but also with personality. Do you sometimes "dumb yourself down" to relate to people better?

To me the most generous and compassionate people in the world are the American people. I have often read criticisms of the American people by people from other countries. I am sure in some way or another the American people have generously contributed to the country of the ones that criticise. It bothers me that so many are critical of the American people yet it is America that's most often the first to arrive in a disaster to help in any way she can. It is not only the American people that should be contributers but other countries should contribute also, to their ability. I have often heard of starving citizens in America, but I have yet to see one. I myself am one of those poor people ($750.00 a month) but have never gone without basic needs or hungry, I have never seen anyone else do without or really go hungry except those that chose to. God Bless America and the world; may all the hard feelings become brotherhood for the mutual benefit of all on this planet!

Is there a saying or proverb you try to live your life by? Do you simply have a favorate saying? What is it, and why? Mine is "If it is worth doing at all, it is worth doing right." I tell myself this when I start a project, as a reminder to myself not to get lazy and cut corners.

I have to de-clutter. And that must include getting rid of my old VHS tapes.
Someone said to me that I can go to a store and have them transferred to a DVD; but the fee is much more than my tapes are even worth! Mostly, 98%, they are just stuff recorded off the TV.
Can they be sold for a little bit of money? Or are they just junk?

Am I too attached to my old favourite shows? How do I let go?

The tub is filled with nice hot water,oodles of bubbles,..the lights are down very low,and the candles are lit and lighting warmly. Here is a platter of the freshest fruits,and pink champaign is on ice.

Today I was having trouble getting into my apartment for the fifth time because the office kept forgetting to activate my key card. As a result, I started to get frustrated and begin yanking on the door handle really hard. I hate what's happening to me now. The more sickly I get in the head, the worse my aggression gets. There doesn't seem to be any solution. The door didn't break but it could have if the janitor didn't walk by to open it for me. I can't apologize to the people in the building because that would just confuse them (because the door didn't break) and would solve nothing. Should I punish myself with death for my blatant act of desrespect for the other people who use the door? I think I'm a worthless hunk of seething **** who deserves death. I'm being serious. I'm so upset I can barely write this.
