what makes me want to be kind is the cruelty of most of the world. children are starving and most people are more concerned about what they will wear in the morning. i can't stand to see other people suffer. there is so much in this world to go around. so much excess that could be used to help. oh and by the way I am an atheist. its not only religious ppl who are disgusted with the world. if everyone gave just a little we could alleviate this. please give 2 charity

My son. I know that he is always watching me and will follow my example. It is my goal to show him kindness and love though my actions towards others.

It costs nothing, it makes yourself and others happy.
It's so true that what you give is what you get. So if you project anger, cruelty and negativity, guess what you're going to get in return?
I couldn't live that way, it would be too miserable.

god. he was kind to me to send jesus to die for my sins. i follow his example and am kind to others. that's it. no big philosophical reason, just that fact.
