i'm a cop i wear my college ring, it's where i went to get my criminal justice degree, it's kind of like the medal worn on uniforms except it's right there on our hands, besides they do help out in a struggle ;-)

Why not? I still wear my class ring and I've been out of High School for a good long while. I like looking at it to remember how things were back then, and how far I've come since then in my various endeavors in my work and personal life. I think it's a great way to remember where you came from and that who you were then shapes who you are now.

Why shouldn't they?
Those rings are probably either their academy rings, or military service rings. Why shouldn't they wear them?
Besides, a big bulk ring adds authority to a punch.
