...what new and wonderful aromas have you noticed?
This is meant as a bit of fun, please be as flowery and descriptive as possible, don't go banging on about how horrible and disgusting smoking is.

Haha, I live in Ireland, which was the first country to introduce a smoking ban, and I know what you're talking about.

Many people noticed that the toilets in pubs were a bit smelly, previously this had been masked by the cigarette smoke, but this meant that publicans had to be a bit (more) scrupulous with regard to cleaning. Also the seats in pubs smelled different, some nicer, some a bit ikky ... but again, these are all things that have since been sorted out.

I've noticed sewerage, vehicle exhausts, and the smell of peoples damp clothes when they get on a bus. And I'm thinking of going back to smoking! lol. Have a good day.

we don't have the ban in England yet, but a friend of mine who's a barmaid in Scotland says when someone breaks wind it clears the place out, now the smoking ban is in place she also notices bad breath, body odour and sweaty feet that were once disguised by the smell of smoke

It is nice to get up with a hangover and not have to wrench at the smell of stale smoke on your clothes and hair!
