Why do we talk to ourselves in our minds as If were talking to another person, sometimes?

Because our nerurological structure underlies the structure of language. We think in the way we communicate. for example when we see a dog in a dress walking down the street, in our mind we make a clear distinction between the dog and the dress. We don't think of the dog and the dress being the same "object". The reason why is because we have different words for "dog" and "dress" and we also have words to describe their relationship between the two objects ("amusing"). It's the reason why animals are not intelligent in the way that we are, and why they can't communicate with a language as complex as ours.

Because we need the answer, believe it or not all our answer are within, we ask those who are outside such as family, friends, sometimes strangers, to validate what we already believe inside. Unless you have a mental health issue, physical impairments, or addictive behavior issues, which will impair/alter your thinking. Your best answers come from within the most highest present form of self, which is GOD, and we all have him inwardly, rather we choose to accept this fact or not. He only ask that we love him and his son. Then we can have answer within our selves toward a victorious Living, why have a ordinary life ? when we can live extraordinary.

It's usually worse at night when I am trying to go to sleep.

Sometimes I just can't shut my brain down and it drives e crazy.

cause sometimes you just have to step out of the situation and remind yourself of what to do! lol!! :-) Does that make sense? It did to me! lol! This isn't considered talking to myself right now is it? Cause technically , I am anwering a question, but I feel like I am talking to myself! Oh Lord ! lol!!!
