I think;

Brazil, when oil/gas start running out. People will have to turn to ethanol and Brazil is it's biggest producer. Solar Power is just not going to work and I'll be damned if i'm going to ride in a nuclear or hydrogen car.

United Arab Emirates is significantly growing now, and probably will for another 20 years or so, but once oil is out the way, then Dubai goes right down the drain.

China has already started to explode in the last 20 years more than any country ever did in history. It is likely to stay that way, due to it's GIANT population. Chinese is likely the language of the future.

Downhill countries

United states has been going downhill since the 1970's. In the 1960's no country's armed forces can even compare to us, now look at China's and a few other ones. More countries dislike us to some degree than 3 years ago.

Iraq
Iran
North Korea
Cuba
Libya
and wherever Bush goes there are violent protests.

It's just getting ridiculous. At my school people always have a cell glued to their ear, some even check voicemail during class. I've heard people talk about all kinds of things from arguments to sex. Is nothing private anymore? Even the cable guy was talking to his mom on his cell while he was at my house fixing my cable. Do people really think that we want to hear their conversations? It's one thing when people are at the store and call home to see if they should buy some milk, but it's another thing to have epic conversations where people have to listen (like on public transportation or even the bathroom! That creeps me out). Half the time I don't even know if someone's talking to me or if they have an earpiece in their ear and are talking on their phone. Anyway, this is my rant. Is anyone else as annoyed by this as I am?

I'm an American and I've noticed that when I travel to Europe, the black people there act completely different than most of the African Americans that live in America. I'm not saying that all blacks in America are bad, but there are a lot that are. In Europe though, the black people I have met there are much more, I'll say refined for lack of a better term. Why is this and has anyone else noticed?

I'm in college and I stay in a four bedroom apartment on campus with 3 roomates. two of us like the house warm and the other two like it cold. I came to a compromise with one of them and she said she would turn the air on 75 when she got hot. The other girl only cares about herself and turns the air on 65 degrees at night making everyone sick when they wake up. I've asked her to just turn it on 75 and she says that she is to hot even with her window up and it is 60 dgrees at night outside. Me and my other roomate who likes it warm turn it off in the night but when we fall asleep she turns it back on. and we wake up freezing while she says it feels good to her. and when the bill comes we have to split it four ways and it so high because she never turns any lights off and always want it freezing. I think she should pay more on the bill but I can' make her stop turning the ac on 60 or pay more does anyone have any advice. I close my vent but air still gets in because the house is so cold

Why did cops in NYC search my bag on the subway for NO reason?

I'm just a young girl minding my own business. Its a new rule/law/whatever of random stop and search in subways and buses.

Subway has 1000s of entrances that terrorists can get thru with no detection. Does Bush think manning only a handful of entrances is going to stop a terrorist?
