I work with a large group of women and I'm amazed how much bitching and backstabbing goes on. Why are women their own worst enemies sometimes?

i never had a friend, i never had a girlfriend, im still a virgin, im 19 yrs old, im still in highschool, i wear cheap clothes cause im broke, i dont live with my dad or mom, but i live with a 80 yr old man that found me on church steps took me in and raised me on his own (i thank him so much) but hes not going to live forever, i cant get a job,i dont have a phone..how am i supposed to keep in touch with others...ohh what others...NOBODY...is my life going to get any better?...no matter how nice i am with others..people treat me like chit...people dont know anything about my life how really bad it is. its bad its just...REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD...its like the african people in africa are having better lifes than me.

but the thing is..i will persist until i succeed.

Knowingly or unknowingly did you make someone else feel good by doing a good deed this morning or afternoon? Do you plan on doing something good for humanity today? Tonight before you go to bed do you look back on what you accomplished and pat yourself for helping somebody earlier today? Did you smile or shake someone's hand? Did you help a senior with a simple task? Did you give a co-worker a helping hand? Was your deed a good-samaritan act? Did you benevolently give $ to somebody or some charity? Did you call your wife and told her you loved her? Did you tickle your baby and laughed with him? Did you teach your daughter to fly a kite? Why is your deed unique? Explain.

I think something like having a martial arts tournement that was to the death and just when you defeat the last man and go to get the money, girl and stuff you slip on some sweaty towel and crack your head.

Hi, im in the 6th grade and i just was wondering what some older people thought about this, so please if youre an adult answer this. ok, my cousin was yelling at me when we went dress shopping, i tried on this dress and i didnt know what it would look like when i had it on, but she saw it and yelled at me and told me to stop dressing like a sex object?,,,! than im like we dont and she goes, well they dont dress boys like us/like that so that proves it..

When people say "serve" your country, what exactly are they talking about??

Of course, they are talking about spending time in the military,
AS IF the only way to "serve" society or humanity was by taking THEIR career path.

Let me ask you:

Doesn't doctor in an emergency room at 1:00 a.m. "serve" the people?

Doesn't a pro bono lawyer, representing a poor person that can't afford legal services "serve" the people?

Generally, aren’t soldiers being vain when they say "serve" as if they are the only ones that serve the community?

We all "serve" in our own ways, and to say that MY way is better than YOUR way is just looking down on other people's roles in society?

Bottom line, people take the military career path because the nature of the work suits them (and other practical & economic reasons), not because they chose to do something LESS profitable OVER something MORE profitable in life, all out of altruism? Please

BTW, I "served" in USMC reserve 1996-2002, 8th Tanks

wow some people on here can be mean when they respond to questions. if you are rude don't answer seriously. i mean it hasn't happened to me yet[hopefully it wont] but damn i dont care if the question is stupid or something be nice about it to people..if you are rude it wont help them any.

I'm curious. I've written a few stories about it but I can't imagine really living out that lifestyle. I've heard from men on why they'd like to live it out, but I haven't heard any perspective from women who live this lifestyle, and I'd like to hear why it appeals to them. Please don't be judgmental, those comments will be promptly ignored.
