"Thank God I have this ugly fat body for which to focus on and hate and spend all my time trying to fix, change, lessen. Thank God for exercise machines, and diet pills. Thank God for weightloss. Thank God I can try and fix the outside because I just know that the inside is beyond repair."

I like these:

From Muhammad (SAW);

God does not judge you according to your bodies and appearances, but He looks into your hearts and observes your deeds."
[The man asked] "Who is more entitled to be treated with the best companionship by me?" The Prophet said, "Your mother." The man said. "Who is next?" The Prophet said, "Your mother." The man further said, "Who is next?" The Prophet said, "Your mother." The man asked for the fourth time, "Who is next?" The Prophet said, "Your father."
Sahih al-Bukhari, 8:2

It is better for a leader to make a mistake in forgiving than to make a mistake in punishing.
Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1011

The best among you are those who are best to their wives.
Narrated in Ibn Majah, #1978, and Al-Tirmizi, #3895

Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor. Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously. And anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should say what is good or keep quiet.
Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 47

From Malcolm X;

Usually when people are sad, they don't do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when they get angry, they bring about a change.

You can't separate peace from freedom, because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.
Speech in New York City (7 January 1965)

From Gandhi;

Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not any man’s greed.

We cannot be speakers who do not listen. But neither can we be listeners who do not speak.

From Noam Chomsky;

Because they don't teach the truth about the world, schools have to rely on beating students over the head with propaganda about democracy. If schools were, in reality, democratic, there would be no need to bombard students with platitudes about democracy. They would simply act and behave democratically, and we know this does not happen. The more there is a need to talk about the ideals of democracy, the less democratic the system usually is."
